I have a mini poodle and he has very significant separation anxiety. When he sees me getting ready to go out he gets very anxious. Hes okay to be in a different room from me but he doesn't like to be left alone in the house. Also, Bailey is very high energy even at age 8 he needs lots of exercise and indoor games. Bottom line: unless you're retired or work from home this might not be the right breed for you. Like Lotti, Bailey is very sensitive and he is aware of what's going on around him. ps Lotti is very cute

My Pound Poodles (aka purebred rescue Poodles) suffer horribly with separation anxiety, too!

if ur a female, id suggest u get a male and if ur a male get a female!

In my opinion, female dogs are calmer than males- unless you castrate/neuter them. Female dogs bleed once or twice a year. Male dogs pee a lot more. I grew up with always a poodle in the house and have had my own for 13 years now- female.
