Daemon is a hero(for team black at least)you'll know soon enough and the incident killing the child daemon didn't tell them to kill the child only aemond... Matt Smith even said as much in a interview and im more than sure he read the script... And him killing his wife is technically self defense she reached for her weapon first got booted off the horse and was paralyzed then she insults daemon knowing he has a temper 💀 that's self defense to me... another thing daemon doesn't want the throne he just wants what's best for his direct family he could've killed his brother and took the throne with no effort and rhaenyra asked him to marry her and she is actually using him for who he is because he's the most dangerous man in westiros she even says with him as her husband her claim wouldn't be easily challenged. They both using each other but they still love each other

He is such a complicated character. He can be loyal to a fault (remember Vaemond???). He loves and protects his family, but he also has selfish ambitions, he wants to be King.

Overall a fantastic season- not sure if I would say season 2 or season 3 is better (but only b/c they were both great). I didn't like the finale episode as much as the two of you did - I didn't hate it, and there were moments that I really liked. I liked the scene w/ Oliver Platt and Carmy talking about Mikey. I liked Sydney in this episode. I liked Carmy confronting David the DB. I didn't get as excited about all the celebrity chefs. I'm with you, Jess, on Claire. But Overall such a great season. Loved Tina's episode. Agree with you on wishing they dropped the episodes more slowly - this show is absolutely NOT a comedy and it's intense and very emotional at times (with a few laughs here and there), so it's a lot to watch the episodes all at once. I have one hot take....I understand Sydney's struggle to make this decision....but does no one think she is being a little unfair to the whole crew (b/c they ALL are putting their heart and soul on the line for this restaurant) to drag out this decision like this? If she up and leaves, she is leaving them with a big hole to fill when they're just up and running and still not solid om whether they are going to make it

I dont believe its as Jess is saying it is ,its un fact the same as the greens. The men want Rhaenyra gone so they can loose the dragons same as te greens want war. Rhaenyra is level headed and doesnt want pure destruction.

It was a good episode Got had such great characters and dialog ,this was needled. I think Alicent knew Viserys never changes his mind. It wouldnt change anything but Alicent held on to her hypocrisy for so long and held others to this piousness she couldnt hold to. This will eat Alicent alive and it should .Alicent was awful to Rhaenyra and her children, this was always going to happen the only change now is Alicent can no longer tell herself it was the right thing.

Vampire had a great ending. Finally Louis is getting results. I wonder if a 3rd season will come?

I really enjoyed this series. The finale was brilliant. I loved both Louie and Lestat. Glad he is back. A wonderful twist on the ending. I didn't like Malloy either.

I don't think Daemon is either b/c he swings in both ways depending on his ambition & for the purpose of his cause, which could be looked upon as being complicated. However, I do find him to be very loyal to his family, which is an honourable quality that I admire about him.

I do wish Agent Nixon got his, that would have been satisfying because he was an idiot. I was afraid Dembe would die, so I'm glad they didn't go that route. Red would not have been caught so either he dies or disappears. The bull was the perfect poetic touch. The bull saw "red.". The animal sensed how dangerous Red was, so it instinctively killed him.

Hi Matt & Jess. Wow! What a great finale. Revenge is definitely a dish served cold! Louie killing the coven that was great to watch and Santiago’s demise that could have been longer. A great twist Armand being the one who wrote the script, him knowing all the time what was going to happen to Louie & Claudia. It always seemed like Armand wanted the interview with Daniel to end early and put his version of what happened so that Louie would not find out the truth. Lestat saved Louie because he still loves him and didn’t want him to die. Louie& Lestat meeting back in New Orleans was a lovely scene to watch. Of course they both have regrets about what happened to Claudia. Then the reveal that Daniel’s a vampire another turn. Obviously Armand turned him, it will be interesting to see where that story goes. Like you Jess I don’t care about Daniel as a character. I hope we do see more of Louie because I love Louie’s character. I look forward to season 3 and how the story will progress. Enjoy your day.

In the books Claudia haunts both Louis and Lestat in the books, so you may a spectre of Claudia to come. This show is so good. The acting is spectacular. Next season will be the history of Lestat. I am sure Jacob will be in the present tense. Lestat and Louis have an on and off relationship throughout the series along with Armand. More vamp it to come along with the red headed twins. This show and actors should be up for Emmy’s. Ben Johnson was so good as Santiago. I can’t say enough about this show even though it deviates from the books at times.

What this reminds me of is that phrase "Too many Cooks in the kitchen." Only this time there are too many heirs vying for the power of the throne and it's not the little children, who are currently being sacrificed, it's the adults vying for power. We can see the look on Alicent's face, no one listens to her, just the look on her face as she tries to give her opinion to the men. The men all want war. Same thing on Rhaenyra's side. The older men are like ok sweetie, you just go away some where safe and we'll fight this war for you. Daemon was trying to take out Aemond, who killed Luke, but now after the Harrenhal episode, by himself, we can see him feeling bad that the child heir, Jaeharys was killed instead. Daemon will do what he needs himself next time to get the job done. I still wonder if he becomes one of the White walkers, because there are a lot in GoTs that look like some random Targaryen. . . But the Dance is about to begin for real next week and some of the adults are about to be truly affected, and Alicent is may not be out on the battlefield, but she is going to feel it.

In the book it was Lestat who Daniel not Armand. Remember Lestat was Louie maker not Armand.

I understand the Armand character completely. The past life he had. He was abducted, abused and sold to a brothel at 14. All he knew was the coven. Talk of conflicting emotions, paranoid. He loves Louie but really doesn't know how to.

Hello Matt and Jess!! Long time no see! I just finished watching Season 3, but I knew once I was done, to come to this video for an excellent breakdown. You both did a great job! I thought that Season 3 was solid. My favorite episodes in order are: 1. Next 2. Napkins 3. Ice Chips 4. Forever

This show better get recognized, for the love of sweet chocolate Christ!!! I cannot say enough about these fabulously talented actors, all of them! OMG that reunion scene at the end....truly heartbreaking, traumatic, painfully touching.....I was so exhausted, all the tears & I was watching this alone.....ahhhhhhhhh Louis was taking everyone out, like a boss! Calling Santiago Francis, lol awesome! His head was seriously rolling in the deep! That shot of Louis & Armand with the sun beam between them....stunning! Armand, you just keep lying man, so glad Daniel exposed him. Oh Sam, you cute little double agent you! So much for Armand not touching Daniel. Interesting.....I cannot wait for next season!!

I must say, I am very very nervous for my boy Daemon! I’m so not ready to see him die but the girl telling him he’s gonna die there screams bad news for Daemon. It gave me Red woman telling Varys he’s gonna die in Westeros and we know what happened with that.

The only thing I heard going into this season is that episode 4 is comparable to Battle of the Bastards. That’s a pretty high bar to reach but if it’s even close to that it’ll be incredible!! I am so fricken excited!!
