That is not an issues with these engines provided they are properly maintain at descent intervals.

Same thing happened to mine. It blew a head gasket and one of the lifters took out the cam.

I'd be tempted to pull one piston to check and make sure the rings are " clocked" properly. Thats a big deal to my understanding, I'd hate to trust someone else. Do those idler gears get new bearings???

At 17:42 when you’re installing sleeves, doesn’t the piston pin push down on the next sleeve as well. Pushing on one side of the sleeve will tilt the sleeve. No???

Great job. I work for a bus company that have Ford E450 vans that have the same Glass. I purchased the same tool. So I needed to learn how to install the glass with this tool.

@@AF-FI-b4y Sounds like soot deposits are going to be your problem. Check egr valve case for soot. You might have to clean your egr cooler too.

That’s what I would do first. You might have to replace ur egr valve.

Hey buddy when you say melted do you mean you couldn’t pull connector out of the ipr valve? I have a truck that won’t start. Cranks but no start. Won’t even run with starter fluid. It tries but won’t run when starter fluid is removed. My pigtail is stuck inside the ipr so I was wondering if I have the same issue. Also when I hook up Jpro it says I have voltage at certain modules.

Oil is always going to trickle out from the top of the injectors. It shouldn’t gush out. That’s how the rockers get oil to keep them from wearing out prematurely.

I've got one for you, the red strobes and stop sign immediately activate when ignition is turned on. Cut the battery disconnect off and you can go through the Amber's then reds, reds will not deactivate after. Then turn bus off and back on, the reds and stop sign are immediately turned on with ignition

1.Can you get away with just replacing the tensioners if they’re the problem ? 2.What if the chain skipped a few teeth bc of tensioner issue ? Can you just realign it , replace the tensioner, and call it a day?

@@optpr1119 you can but it is not recommended. Chains stretch with time.

And chain guides might have some wear or stress fractures (cracks)

I’ve got myself a 2010 ce300 with the Maxx force and my regen switches are unplugged in the dash, exhaust seems to be in tact and no engine lights. Performance has been fine but I’m scared to have an issue.

Thanks for the videos Joe..I'm glad my1996 Intl. 4700 Low Profile came with the all mechanical DT466.engine.. I had to do a inframe in 2006 when a liner O ring started leaking..Its still running good with 500k miles..😎👌

replaced ficim twice changed injector gasket. replaced injector icp sensor injector harness still stumbling shutting itself off its getting a short to ground on all cylinders and says replace idm. checking all grounds and harness dont know maybe its the ignition switch?

@@matthewheimbigner8671 sounds like you might have a harness issue. Try a wiggle test on the IDM connectors while engine is running.

How much air pressure should i lose on my box truck overnight parked? Please i have same issue, i changed the foot valve quick fittings that were leaking but truck still loses air pressure overnight to zero.

I’m doing this right now at my job. The ring seals you’re replacing about a minute in, I’m having trouble with those. They were very tight when I tried to get them off and they’re very tight when I put all 4 on one groove. I’ve cleaned it with a wire wheels, abrasive paper, and scraped it with a flat head to get the rust off but nothing is working. Do you have any other ideas I could try? Like I said, I put all 4 on and they don’t move cause they’re so tight. When you installed yours, they move freely.

Hi Joe, I see that you were using Interstate Mcbee parts in this video. Do you prefer them over Highway & Heavy Parts? Can you tell which one is more recommended. So when you're done timing the gear train and put the front cover back on, should the harmonic balancer be aligned with the tdc mark?

I have 2015 international 4300 maxxforce. Not sure if my crankcase breather is serviceable. I have it dissamble unitl last part. Not sure what is called. Cap cover, then you can separate the disc to clean. Any advice? Thank you
