I am surprised how quiet the rolls Royce engines were on the virgin Atlantic A330-900 because the engines are similar to that of the A330-343 that virgin Atlantic still flies on longer routes

What was the British airways plane at the show because depending on the plane then it depends on where the airline flies it because it British airways has certain routes almost every big plane summer season and the winter season it’s what they do and almost all airlines are like that

I knew that the Virgin Atlantic A330-900 was only a week old because virgin Atlantic keeps a record of the names and planes on their website it also lists what planes they have on order and what planes they are going retire

I was genuinely stunned by the agility of this aircraft, very elegant too.. I assume this footage is from the Monday as it looks like the display I witnessed? The pilot was definitely having a lot of fun and even showing us his inner Chewbacca :)

@@FarnboroughAviation-nb2or No not of Farnborough was concentrating as a second pair of eyes for traffic it was quite busy the reason we flew down to the IOW was to film a work colleague and friend of my nephew, scatter his friends ashes over the Neddles from his aircraft. They asked me to video it his widow and son watched from the ground, we then landed at Sandown for lunch quite a day.😔

@@FarnboroughAviation-nb2or Yes indeed took a lot of planning had to get permission from the CAA amongst other things and designing a device to eject the ashes, so many things could have gone wrong wrong but everything aligned perfectly on the day. Maybe I should apply for a job as an air to air video maker 🤔

I flew F-HSUP as part of my line training, following my 6X type rating. Yes, it's a real performer, but Dassault has a long way to go to perfect the plane. There are many nuisance messages that appear on power-up, the galley design is a disaster and the interior cabinetry shakes and rattles like crazy. That said, it'l still a pretty nice plane to be flying.

The reason why some of the planes left early is that they will be used for the next day flights so they will have to leave early for the airline to make sure that they are ready in advance for those flights regardless of them being on display for the air show the airlines will have only set aside planes but once they are needed for the next flights the airlines will fly the planes when they need them regardless of the air show. Just good to see them for a short time on display before they are flying passengers it’s what the planes are meant for

What I think 🤔 Boeing should have brought to the show is one of the new 777S for the airlines to see exactly what they are buying and for those airlines who haven’t placed orders for it because they are two minds as to what to do over this one

@ricardosam8050 Hi - they have trade / business tickets for sale on the Monday to Thursday and then the public tickets on the Friday - but certainly this year a lot of the good stuff had gone by Thursday sadly… next one isn’t until 2026 but google it nearer the time to get the website and page up and how to apply for tickets etc. best wishes from Steve

JetBlue A220 flying over Surrey, didn’t think I’d see that! Fantastic video, sadly I couldn’t make it to the show as I’m in Italy on holiday. Nice to see the special livery on G-VSRB (A339) I went on it just a few weeks ago!

@@UmarKhan-f5eYes it was less than a week old so I think they were showcasing it as part of the Airbus display. They had a brand new BA A320; Virgin A359; JetBlue A220-300 and A400 all in one enclosure.

Nice !! Just additional notes regarding BBJ A6-AIN. I was tracking this on my SBS radar. It made a few circuits to the southwest of FAB (roughly over Alton and Bordon at my guesstimate) after its first few attempts to land. Attempted first landing at 18:45ish and was still going for it just after 20:20, then climbed to 10,000ft and headed north for Stansted. Should have gone there after the the first few failed attempts really.
