I completed the same job yesterday. It sucked up 1 full can and added a second can after I drove it the next morning. Great video. Thanks a bunch.

Great video Tom! Thank you. I just sorted out our 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk V6 in 10 minutes. Thanks for pointing out the Darth Vader sound as a symptom that is exactly what I noticed in our Jeep. I hooked up the can and Guage to the system like you explained and right away could see it was low. It only took 5 short shots to bring it up to correct pressure. I let sit for 15 seconds to see if pressure would drop but it didn't. Checked the air temperature coming out of the vents and it was really cold. Job done! YOU CAN do it yourself everyone!! Don't give up your hard earned dollars to corporate greed.

@JAYZIGGY53 ай бұрын
I really hate hearing "it was just a little low" or "the dealer wanted $××× for a recharge". If it's low on refrigerant there is a leak somewhere. Plain and simple. You can spend money on refrigerant and get it going cool again but depending on how big the leak is determines how long it's gonna last before you have to do it again. If there's no leak at all you won't ever have to '"recharge" your ac system in your car.

Been running the munster bushing for 3 years. The only thing is you have to beef up the lower arm. If it breaks the upper arm can fall and slice your track in half.

You don’t have to take the gauge or the vents out to remove the hood, just the 4 torx and the air box clamp. And the two connectors under the cover

True, but much easier to just remove the gauge. 2 extra bolts.

Interesting how the instructions I got with my rails, and the instructions on their website mention nothing about those m8 to m10 bushings. Wondered what they were for.... Oops. That's probably why I just about lost the lower fts bolt today

@xtremeairvents6 ай бұрын
I’ve had these on my gen 4’s for a couple years. I’ve never heard of a spring breaking. I could see if using a brand that doesn’t fit correctly would cause binding but that’s not an issue with the Bushpusher’s they fit and don’t bind

Michael, honestly I rode it half the season locked and half the season not. It doesn’t make that big of a difference. I actually prefer it with the t-motion better.

You should really just get rid of those torsion springs.. one of the first things I do to my sleds! Makes the handling of the snowmobile so much better. The Tom’s torsion spring delete kit. Also, Zbroz has a coil over RTS that is steller!

@xGR1MxREAPERx7 ай бұрын
Couple things: A- do not forget that plastic ring inside secondary helix to clutch( he said that) B- you have a ton of yellow loctite in the end of jackshaft and on stock bolt.. you gotta clean those both up and make the new Loctite grab the best. Otherwise the new loctite adheres to old stuff which does nothing and the bolt rattles out.

Heel bolts on those reminds me of "heel clicker" weights for polaris and cat clutches that came out around 2000. Do you ever grease the roller needle bearings? I was thinking of using redline cv grease. Seems like car cv joint grease is under as much load and centrifugal force and heat as a clutch would be.
