I have both B&L and Luxxocita aviators. I've noticed the temple arms sit quit low on the frame on B&L compared to the Luxxocitas.

Should I order a size smaller in the quilted jackets? For example if I wear Large normally should I order medium, for the quilted jackets from Barbour?

new ones like the heritage liddesdale are cut trimmer, so I'd size up on these. Older ones can be ok with your normal size

@@WaxandTartans What I meant to say is I've never owned Barbour jackets before and everything on the internet says the sizes are all over the place. Like "The Duke" jacket suns small so order 1 size up and the quilted jackets run large so order 1 size down.

@@xix94 a section of the lining is nylon which doesn’t absorb water so your clothes don’t get wet underneath the jacket.

I have a pair of vintage AO glasses 5 1/2 (with double line milled AO and "American Optical" written on the temples. The upper bridge has "Command AO/USA" written on it. The glasses were given to me by a friend who found them in a box in his attic. Would you know to help determine if it is genuine American Optical.Thanks for your help!

The ones with the yellow tabs are possibly around two decades old. Haven’t had those colour tabs in ages.

RM Williams are a beast of a boot! I also have pairs of beautiful Chelsea’s made by Crockett and Jones which are twice the price of RM Williams but the pull tabs already broke on them! You can pull as hard as you like on the RM’s…good luck breaking their tabs!

What size are your B&L Clubmasters ? 49mm or 51mm ? I bought a pair that’s 49mm but seems small even for my narrow slim face. Maybe because am used to wearing bigger lens 58mm Aviators.

That was a poor designer. A real designer worthy of the title would have duplicated the inner pocket rather than take away functionality. I wish they had a long sleeve liner, be easier to keep the jacket clean by being able to machine or hand wash the liner of the sweat. I am also used to sleeved liners on military jackets.

I’ve got two pairs of Ways… both with small logo on side of arm, both with BL etched, both the same size, but one has Wayfarer and one has Wayfarer 2. The one without 2 also has “1725 NWAW CC” on one arm at the temple. Difference? Age? Any info?

@@WaxandTartans these two are 98% the same size. The “Way two” has a more inverted slope on the frame, but that’s all I can see. I have 10 pairs of Way two, but this is the only Way (no two) and they look pretty much the same.

I ordered exactly this pair last year and I had the same issue with the build quality. One arm was loose so I ended up returning it. I just purchased it again yesterday and hopefully there aren't any issues.

I think the cases were made out of leather when they had “made in Italy” stamped on them. I have two pairs from around 2013 and it seems like real leather just not great quality leather

Do the jackets break in or “loosen” over time? I’m right in between a 38 & 40, with the 38 fitting better around the mid torso but being tighter across the back when reaching forward. The 40 looks oversized but better in the upper torso

The new cases are cheap and flimsy, but you can buy any hard shell case to be honest. It’ll fit most cases.
