As soon as I saw Rebirth I knew what was going to happen xD God Damnit Bamco give us Destiny 2 (My favourite) and Rebirth in a modern system. They are good games and deserve more love.

I can't believe how accurate the innocence one is. The only game I've ever actually played as the main protag is tempest cause wolf boy cute. Also, I feel like rays deserved its own entry cause it was way less a mobile game and more the best fan letter to tales fans ever.

This is pretty accurate, as an old Tales fan. My favorite is Eternia though and tbh the fact that we got it as Destiny II doesn't seem to come up much anymore. Though maybe it's because I don't talk to my fellow fans much anymore

Tales of Vesperia is genuinely, one of the worst games i have ever played. Like oh... My god. The art, the animations, the music, the dialogue, the weird tropes... And oh my god that combat and really terrible cutscenes... I seriously cant understand how people like it. First and only Tales i ever played (with 4 players too), and if the rest of the saga is like that... Nope im out.

I'm a fossil who played Phantasia when it was the only game out yet... I think. I don't remember seeing Destiny out yet by the time the translation patch rolled out. I thought it was ok but didn't really wow me. Then I tried Vesperia hearing it was the @#%@#%, and was completely misled about its combat system. I was under the impression it was like graces f (which wasn't out yet), where dodging/avoiding attacks was a thing, but in that game it was mostly just combos. Completely disappointed. Maybe it's a fine game but just wasn't what I was looking for. Hearing it was the bestest most amazingest game ever, I almost decided to drop the series for good. However one day Xillia Was free or crazy cheap on the psn store or something. I forget, and I said what the hell, and boy am I glad I did I ADORED it, easily my fave. Because of that I played graces F (also good, not as good), Berseria (not as good as either but ok), and Xillia 2 (I'm a complete weirdo who actually likes the debt system...But... I don't like the game. The story is completely schizo, and I don't like Ludger, and I especially don't like that the character I don't like is massively op compared to the others and the game severely punishes you for not playing him all the time. ARGH.. Oh, and that relationship system thing is so effing annoying).

I honestly don't know how people are able to easily pick a favorite game in this series. There are so many good games its really hard to say. Also that Dhaos clip of versus was brutal to see. Why does he look like an older Cless though? No spoilers anyone who reads this if there is a story reason. I have not played Phantasia yet.

I've only played Zestiria, Vesperia and Arise.. a d when I first played Zestiria, that abysmal story damn near turned me off the series until a friend got me the PS4 version of Vesperia.

Agreed on #17 and #1! Abyss is so good. I did enjoy Tales of Destiny I (but II if the far superior game).
