You know I'm not suggesting communism but it seems messed up how some can get so absurdly obscenely filthy rich while so many hard working folks struggle. As far as I'm concerned I think the filthy rich should be taxed way higher and hiding it with foundations ect should be an enforced felony. I can say if I had big money I wouldn't live a life of excess I have no interest in a fleet of super cars and watches ect. I actually would feel guilty squandering do much money while so many go without. Fortunes built off say stocks is money literally just sucked out of the economy into someone's pocket with nothing added back into the world, no service is given it's just sucked out, just take take take. If I came into money I would 100% open an animal sanctuary, people say oh bullshit you would go buy this and that. No I have no interest in that material crap. My sanctuary would be for any animal but it's main focus would be on farm animals especially chickens cattle and pigs "live stock" which is a terrible name that speaks volumes if you actually think about it but they are the most oppressed abused and disregarded living beings on the planet. I'm a regular old blue collar working guy and being that I'm still a car guy I love hot rods and drag racing so I would have a nice shop and a few fun project vehicles but my passion is animals, I don't see how anyone can look into the eyes of an animal see there is a soul with feelings and emotions and kill it, you don't need some form of meat in every damn food in the frozen food aisle. I don't have a problem with hunting for food, predator and prey is how nature was designed but feeding lots with 20,000 cows being fattened up and non stop production line slaughter is not. Sorry I got off on a side rant lol, the connection stems from its something I'm passionate about and I regret not having the financial ability to help animals on that volume.

Well I think billionaires are celebrated for reasons that seem obvious, whether it's Steve Jobs with his iPhone or Musk with his sexy cars and rockets, they become iconic when they're seen as embodying the heights achievable by people with a strong vision, who took the risks that paid off big, and who benefit society because of what they did / do. You can have your critiques of them, but it's not hard to understand why they're celebrated. A lot of people inherit something and squander it or it becomes a reason to never get off their rosy cheeks and do anything. Other people try to put it to work. Many of them fail and end up worse off. It's not like winning a few million in the lottery is your ticket to one day joining the billionaire class. And contrary to your view, I don't think it's usually a simple matter of "buying up some companies". It requires some highly evolved intuition, some determination, and some skilled stewardship to make wealth do something transformative enough that people will remember you for it, or that you become a household name. It wouldn't surprise me if some billionaires have highly questionable characters, or have ulterior motives, or a stained history, or have undue influence over our institutions, or skeletons in their closet. So you're not clueless like the people who overly romanticize the billionaires. By I also think your commentary leans on generalizations and emotional observations, which, while relatable to many, probably oversimplifies complex dynamics. For example, I think wealth probably affects people differently. In the same way drugs affect people differently. Anyway that's my 2 cents.

Wouldn't it be great if we could just live our best life without any worry of the cost? That would be amazing. And a millionaire or billionaire has that opportunity do this right now...TODAY ... Not tomorrow or the next day; they have that ability to turn a switch in head and live their remaining years living their best life, TODAY. They have enough money in their bank account that if they made that choice and if they followed some simple guidelines, they may not ever run out. But chances are very good, they won't. They will continue to live in their head...and their greedy head says, if this much riches were obtainable up to this point, then maybe another million is pretty easy. Why not get another million. Just to be safe. Or another 10 million may be doable if I just forgot about my family, my values, and took advantage of some folks that really don't know any better, and really dug my heals in the next few months pushing myself and chasing the almighty green. Does anyone see what I'm getting at? It's never enough for most people. If you want the life that you deserve, you just have to go get it. Forget reason. Forget balances. Spend like your going to be dead in a few weeks. I lost my son on May 24, 2024. He was struck and killed by an 85 year old man driving a large truck. It was an accident. I am past that part. However, what is next for me? How do I move on from this? Did I learn that time is precious. Did I learn I get one shot at this? None of us have a crystal ball, right? But why chance what could be taken away from me in an instant? There is a huge part of me wants that wants to go out there, take what savings I have accred thus far and just see how far it takes me. Just maybe, in my travels to live my perfect life, I have to act now. If I did, just maybe I could end up living my best life and suddenly find out that my best life is was the life I was meant to live. Maybe, just maybe, I find through this giant risk, that additional resources become available for me by taking this chance that I would have never known were available, otherwise. Maybe I finds that these resources are people willing to help me, feed me, give me shelter and a few bucks just for being who I am. Maybe, I find while I'm out living my best life that the idea of working for a pay check, is totally obsolete and unnecessary for me. Wouldn't that be something? Wouldn't that be great? You Tube Channel. Day 1 - $55,020.33 - Went skiing and spent time with loved ones. Day 25 - 48,920.28 - Did exactly what I was meant to do in life and loved myself for it. Day 167, $62,022.99 - Found a new way to live a mediocre life. Even made a little positive cashflow. Day 301, ran out of money...would that stop me? Would i be depressed? Would I go back to my old life?

So I don't know if I would really consider him the Pinnacle of billionaires. I've heard the argument that we don't personally know them, but you don't need to if you know how they do business. And none of us will meet them anyway. Because they don't care about the average person usually, most of them just waste money and screw over their employees. It's a really simple equation, when it comes down to the money, it should be spread around. Cash flow. Currency. It's meant to be shared, not hoarded

Well, they might agree. Studies and surveys have shown that those with immense wealth often report the least contentment. Their endless pursuit of wealth lacks a natural climax-it is the chase, not the goal, that consumes them. The French word chasse (hunt or chase) is a fascinating lens for this idea, symbolizing how desire often drives us more than fulfillment itself. We learn about value through loss. As Epictetus, the Stoic philosopher, observed, “Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.” True wealth is having more than you need, but this truth eludes many. Another Greek, Socrates, taught, “He who is not contented with what he has would not be contented with what he would like to have.” These ancient insights remind us to question whether our desires serve us or merely trap us. This brings us to the heart of the matter: if what we want is a fantasy or a placebo, it will inevitably leave us feeling empty. The root of both the problem and the solution lies within us. We are the ones who define our values, our treasures, and our meaning. In German, the word schätzen encapsulates this beautifully-it means to value, to treasure, and to create. To truly treasure life, we must also see ourselves as creators of meaning and worth. Let yourself be your greatest creation. As another Greek might remind us, fulfillment lies not in chasing illusions but in shaping ourselves and appreciating what we already have. Cheers, my friend. Always a pleasure to share ideas with you.
