Great video. I do have a question - We have a dometic wh-6gea and it barely gets warm. Is there a way to adjust the Temperature? Would the thermal limit fuse be the problem? It gets warm, but not the temperature you would want for a shower.

How do you keep the hot water from turning cold? Ours tends to run hot for about 10 minutes or so then goes cold for 5-10 minutes?

You can slow the water down going through the heater with the valve on the front that way it'll heat faster

This happened approximately 14 months after we bought our RV which we lived in full time. So I thought this was true about mine, but when I extended it, it wasn't upside down like that and I could not fix it the way you said it would be fixed. Are there any other options? As long as it works I really don't care but if I ever have to sell it it might be an issue.

As long as you're keeping water out, who cares. Some like lap, some tape. I think both products are crap. Still waiting for that miracle product.

The motor is now right in harms way from whatever the tire in front of it kicks up including stones, rain, salt spray from winter roads, ect. Good for business.... I guess.

2025 model year rigs are brass/metal fittings & valves and no more of the incorrect vinyl hose that was prone to leaking.

thank you for posting this video, I did watch another one of yours and you mentioned staying away from the repair tap as it should only be used as a temp fix. What would be a permanent fix for this besides replacing the whole roof? I ask because I have a repair that needs to be done in the same location but it is about 5 feet long.

Nick, Great video. I agree I am not a fan of eternabond tape. It is a temporary patch not a permanent solution. I have replaced many a roof that had eternabond tape or flex seal or flex paste. Keep up the great work.

I think I looked at this model brand new a few years ago. So glad i didn't get one. Honestly the older used models just felt nicer, Higher quality at least. I wasn't satisfied with anything new on the lot and it's hard to invest in an older model that has no warranty for only a slight discount.
