I just turned 17; the realisation of my increasing responsibilities, and figuring out my place in the world with all the distractios and vices; even my own vices, are kinda overwhelming. Trying to find my way through, for the people I care for as well as myself. I also now know that, being kind to others is honest kinda hard, but I'll keep trying my best; if not then what's the point. Well there goes my rant. For any young fellow out there, 'You got this bud'!

JP nailed my early to mid years of Peter Panning because I was disagreeable to formal education. I wish I had known sooner. A biological trait that supports change, but needs some direction to be useful.

2:55 Yes, Jordan, when you market yourself in a way that appeals to popular sensibilities (especially those of disillusioned, lost men), you're going to have a large portion of your audience fit that mold. I also doubt anyone with real expertise in psychology finds your arguments or ideals compelling when a layman can easily dissect them.

@alexlawrence3194 Just because I did not dissect his flimsy arguments in a youtube comment does not mean that I am incapable of doing so. What claim did I make on behalf of real psychologists? An expression of doubt is not a positive assertion. My critique of Jordan does not rely on an understanding of psychology, which I asserted when I said "... when a layman can easily dissect them."..... Do read the comment next time before making a such vapid reply.

@@SmilingCurling-rw7ic let me translate my initial comment for you: "you are arrogant, please get off of this intellectual high horse you think you are on." Please give us all a seminar of how a layman can so easily dissect these arguments or ideals and we can all bow at your feet lmao

@alexlawrence3194 21 күн бұрын
@@SmilingCurling-rw7ic and you did make a claim by insinuating that anyone with "real expertise" in psychology wouldn't find his arguments compelling. That's quite the statement. Almost sounds like you know everything there is to know about all of his arguments since you kept it so general. I just had a hunch you would probably need somebody to spell that out for you.

i think the best u said in this conversation the difference beteen responsibility and the things that life brings us naturally, first of all responsibility is so slefish and EXPEDIESNT WORD, i mean life brings me that i should take of my mother, it will bring in to me and i will do, my mother is my responsibility, she is half of me, i dont take of myself becasue this is my responsibility, it is nature, i love taking care of me, i love taking care of my mother, or earning money to live better, or i am hungery, i know hunger, so when i see a hungery person to help her is not responsibility it is the part of nature, people feed themselves, people are here in this world to take care of each other, it is nature, it shopuld not be thought like smt extra or to do things to get some creidts to heaven to flirt with hercules bodies angels and free weed. the second thing is women and men agreeable, of course women will be more agreeable, they have been ruled, we have been being ruled by men, look at the presodents, they are moslty men, look at the women presidents theyw ear clothes like men, look at the brothels, men pimp women, and women are thought to be aggreable becasue if they dont, they are either gooing to end up in abrothel or marrying to a hairy filthy disgusting so called man, actually they are like animals, i dont count them as men, but men, OMG men! THEY HAVE RIGHT TO FUCK 100 WOMEN AT THE SAME TIME, they have right to smoke weed, they have right to beat women, they have right to pimp women, they have rights to make a woman pregnant and get lost until they die, MEN ARE NOT RAISED TO BE A HUMAN BEING! THEY ARE RAISED TO HAVE RESPONSIBLITIES! AND RESPONSIBLITY IS AN EXPEDIESNT WORD!

A dear friend (a male naturopath) used to say, "Women need to be loved; men need to be acknowledged." I think we women need to practise acknowledging. I do this now with men, even when I didn't really need their help, and I love to see them light up.

Great video. I have a few thoughts. It seems what we perceive to be society deeply shapes our external persona; a simple example would be display of status on social media, as others have pointed out. I think, the question of to what extent can our freedom be limited by a superstructure is an interesting one (the government, for example, but in this case the pressure we perceive is even more imminent because it's coming from the overall ideology and culture that surrounds us). A consequence of capitalism and the amount of time we spend at the workplace is that in our lives we always seek productivity and efficiency in all we do; as you said, even in our own children. This leads to us being deeply unsatisfied and often not spending enough time on expanding ourselves beyond what is demanded of us. It can happen that, in a world dominated by science and statistics, we seek to be that top % because we are led to believe that happiness and freedom lay in success; but no, we cannot seek something so vital in what is conditional. As you said, we must also seek love and beauty, things we cannot measure, but simply experience and find bliss in such experience. The happier the individual, the less divided and dysfunctional the society. Unfortunately, efficiency is needed to run such complex modern societies... it's all about striking a balance with the right norms and policies and using technology in the interest of many, I believe. When it comes to low birth rates however, it's worth noting that they are still high among certain religious communities; it seems that some have begun questioning the overall need for reproduction, perhaps because they feel like their needs are already being met and they might not want to make sacrifices (as someone pointed out, having children is quite expensive and time consuming) because at that time that is what the common belief is (an extreme form of seeking independence).

Man. You people broke the contract between society and an individual man. This broken society gives everything to the top man and takes everything from the bottom man. So what's in it for the bottom man? You know. that man who goes to war who fix your sink, take your trash and so on.. all those folks who actually make society work.
