One idea to make sure the target is illuminated in time is to start illuminating when the missiles are halfway to their target. Instead of illuminating from launch.

With that beam ship up top: I think it may have been something like a rail axford, where they decided (not unintelligently) to run the 2 C4's with rails and then a beam, so it could provide artillery support and when people attacked the "helpless" rail ship, they'd get a nasty surprise ON finishing the vid, I see it was just a beam DD

Honestly, I dread the carrier release. The will break the game so f***ing hard. They completly break the two core mechanics of Nebulous, Vision and Postioning. You cannot angle/position/go into cover against carriers and they also provide insane spotting, lol. Not to mention that the OSP will become even more OP given that their carriers get more and better fighters. After that update, there will only be Carriers and some AA escorts, just like IRL.

Too bad about that leaver. Wonder if it would be worthwhile to allow a team vote to force share ships in the game? I know it can be abused by N:FC doesn't seem like the kind of the community where that would be an issue.

Normally on disconnect it'll automatically give the ships to teammates, but in this case they surrendered first then disconnected, which doesn't share ships.

What’s the setup you have for your AMMs? I’ve never seen them be able to manual fire so easily before, and they fly so far too. Is there a way to hotkey them?

I'm using a Steerable active radar missile with 5.2 km range, nothing fancy. Z is the hotkey to prioritize PD, which shoots off amms on a missile target.

@@screamer5779 as in the missile radar has a 5km range (EACT) or the missile itself just has a 5km range?

One mistake is that you fired missiles at the Axford before wearing it down with 600mm fire first.
