As per the video, this was done on Normal difficulty settings. I never run these in easy, except for the rally stages and when grinding for credits.

I haven't been bothered by this race crap in a long time, every fucking attempt someone kicks me out, This is not real this is pure crap and in the end I gave up because this was the first time I wanted to break something. So far I got to 3rd place

After several tries with different cars, I was finally able to barely beat it with a gr4 Huracan with nitrous. Tuned it for handling and down on power, then used the nitrous on the long straight, and using the full width of the curbs lol. Hope this helps someone.

This specific track cheats so hard it's not even funny. It literally makes you drive on ice, I played the exact same track on custom and quick race, I cornered perfectly. I had exact same specs as the cup race. It cheats and I wish they would fix it.

M8 ditch that VR collander , the view is awful ,when streaming cockpit view is horrible when viewing your live stream , by all means race in it but don't broadcast it please

This is interesting. A lot of people have asked me to run these in VR and to stream them in VR, so your comment is interesting. You are not the first to express a vote against the VR though. I am still streaming in 2D for my lobby races and I’m watching the view counts to see what happens. I am also considering ‘possibly’ trying to stream to VR and 2D simultaneously but not sure yet how or even if possible. I might even see if it is possible to race in VR and push out 2D. I’m new to this side of streaming. I do appreciate your feedback though.

CORRECTION - Plano means No Power, whereas I seem to have indicated that they are the Clear Coat lens. My clear coat lenses are prescription lenses.

Brilliant tip right there. I knew about the fastest ghost from watching Rory's streams but I did not know that you could load up a friends lap to chase. Now to find some friends.

I like the Blue Coat lenses for the moment but I am yet to give the XP Pro lenses a good try. Hopefully this week and into the weekend.

I did not publish prices because I did not want to date the video. I have done that in the past and found that the prices changed a few short weeks later and it makes the video dated and look silly. The prices are available from the VR ProOptics website.

It is a little early to know for sure, but I feel more confident in VR, not sure that the lenses have made a huge difference with regards to speed, but the experience is definitely enhanced with these lenses.

Watched your Video, I understand what you mean about the anti-blue light coating. I became more aware of Blue light affect on my eyes. I was getting eye strain with wearing my prescription glasses and having eye strain. I bought reader glasses with anti- blue light coating and it was a big difference, as you describe the colors seem more natural yet and brilliant without the brightness. I have even installed a anti-blue light shield on my monitor, as I spend many hours watching you and this was adding to my eye strain. I have not used eye drops for dry eyes since making these changes. I would appreciate if you could post a Link to ProOptics as it is difficult to search out . Also I want to bring attention that you have something giving a green tint spots on your eyes when you look directly at the camera. Knowing how tedious you often mention, thought I would bring it to your attention. Fine job and well done!

Hi Wayne, you can find these lenses at vrprooptics.com/ but I would hang fire for the moment. I have only used the plano (Clear coat) and the Blue Coat lenses for the moment. I hope to get into the more expensive but (supposedly) much much better XP Pro lenses. Let me have a few days with those an then I'll let you know which I'd go for. The XP Pro lenses have even more technology for us.

@@playstationracer67 I presently have Prescrition VR lens, but will be having eyes checked soon and will renew. I like the Blue Bocker as stated and watching you demos with interest. Did you see the comment regarding green glare spots on your glasses, it kind of drew my attention, thought I would mention it.

Yup, that is the reflection of the game screen which was loaded and running on front of me. Reflections, I hate them. Another reason why I love these lenses so much - no glasses, no reflections, etc = happy days.

I have some honsvr lenses... which are fine and fairly inexpensive. If these are better though, I'm in. I'd be interested to know how they compare.

Thanks for finding my video and for commenting. I have used the plano and blue coat lenses and they have way exceeded my expectations. I am yet to try the XP Pro lenses and I'll do another video on those when I have spent some time with them.

I wish I had watched this before I ordered my standard prescription lenses cause I would of definitely considered ordering the better ones with this greatly detailed and well put together video…… and just so you know the next time you beat me on gt7 now I will have a great excuse and that will be because my eyes get more tired than yours now 😂😁👍

Well, to be fair it is only because of you that I even sought these prescription lenses. As you said, they really are amazing though and well worth the investment. I cannot wait to try the Premium XP Pro lenses in a day or two.

I am afraid that you cannot check the temperature in the game, it is one of the things that I 'really' wish that they would include. There is some small indicator of over heating and cold tyres with the subtle colours around the tyre graphic in the game. However, like many people I run a separate app on my phone which links via wifi to my network and it picks up this information. There are lots of these application coming to market, some are free and some paid. I use a free app called EzioDash on my iPhone.

Very good introduction, I already have a set made by another lens maker, but did not get blue blocker when I bought them. I am satisfied with my lens, but look forward to your review of the Pro model as I would upgrade based on your comments.

Definitely. I seem to be able to place the car better and I am more aware of what is going on around me. The only thing that I miss is the track map and delta times to help me to better strategise.

Before seeing your video, I made a few attempts in multiple rally cars, and I found the NSX rally car can do great too, by shifting early in the first half of the race and the drive aggressively in the last 3 laps. Same tactics as yours. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
