I really like Schwalbe tyres. Recently i switched to MM Supertrail Soft 2,4 (front) and NN Supertrail Soft 2,4 (rear) for my All Mountain bike (160/150mm travel/27,5 inch) and they feel perfect for my type of riding. Perfect mix of grip (front) and rolling resistance (rear). Due the winter conditions at the moment here in Austria i couldnt try them any longer but next week it will get warmer again. I cant wait to wait to ride again! Keep on producing these great videos!

Cool bike parks and trails. What about publicly available natural paths through wilderness in IE? I.e. not man made specific 'mtb trails' or bikeparks, sth for more adventurous riders? Is there such thing out there?

Scotty, I've only just discovered your videos! I too was at Fort Bill from the beginning (spectating with my young daughters) having moved north from London to discover Real Mtbing living in the Scottish borders! You are a true searcher for the "Ultimate Ride". I've done Ben Lomond and a few hills in the Lake district. Have you done the West Highland way by bike? I walked it and met a crazy New Zealander riding it on a gravel bike! Keep sharing your Awesome films Many thanks "Desperate Dan" 👍🏻😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Really useful overview. The sunset can be challenging to dynamic range and it looked really good in this video. Saturation might be a little high (but it could just be me living in a arid, bone-dry 8-bit world). The coupling with the DJI drone had some awesome follow footage. Manual settings for exposure/shutter speed/ISO range can be very useful when auto mode struggles. And the audio clarity was quite noticeable when hooked to an aux mic. I stopped recording videos a long time ago but if I get back into it, this DJI will likely be it (along with a 249g drone). Thanks!

The Panoramic is an awesome trail but it isn't a green trail (it has finally been classed as a blue for 2024) and never was as it isn't a beginner trail at all.

I love my 2023 Ransom. I wish I had the money to upgrade some of the components, but the bottom line is that none of that is stopping me from ripping the parks and local mountain trails here. I love the videos; keep them coming!!

@@ScottyLaughland yeah I just got it recently, for the price of the bike brand new the components seem a little poor, all Shimano deor stuff, brakes too, a old school 3x9 drivetrain. Going to swap to a 1x11 soon, I saw that some bikes came with a 11 speed cassette in the rear so I know that will fit. I guess the price was so high cause it was a carbon fiber frame, or a carbon front triangle and aluminum rear triangle

I ran this Albert in the front for a couple weeks. Most comfortable tire I've ever felt, small roots rocks and imperfections just disappear. If you have bad wrists or something I would totally recommend it. I'm going back to the assegai because I lost some trail feedback that is important to me and the tire likes to pull up rocks that give me shin strikes.
@ScottyLaughland2 ай бұрын
That’s a great review! Not experienced the small rocks being thrown up however! You should check out the Magic Mary in their range - it’s probably still my favourite all rounder tire!

@EMTB172 ай бұрын
What the simps of the world keep missing is sidewall protection is severely compromised in “radial” construction. That’s one reason they claim you can run higher pressure. Because it’s needed to not puncture. So many years went into developing a tire we could run tubeless with less pressure from more grit. Now we want to just erase all of that and go backwards? Fucking stupid.
@thegriff94252 ай бұрын
Did you end up running higher than normal tyre pressures?
@ScottyLaughland2 ай бұрын
Yes, running 2 psi harder in the front and 3psi in the rear!
