20:03 stupid robot have no sensors in his back. That is the problem of design based on human anatomy. Different designs or at least few additional cameras that can observe 360 radius would be game changer. Actually, they need to have sensors like predators have, especially thermo vision.

@@MrBnetV This design looks great with hood. It would be even better if it had scythe. Too bad that there are no terminator movies with grim reaper versions. Not to mention metalic reaper metalic horse or metalic flying dragon.
Excellent. Also, I thought The Ring was destroyed by Frodo? And not only that, are Hyboria/Arda supposed to be the same in your film series? I also have an idea for a Indiana Jones film. How about Indy go looks for the statue of Baphomet from the House On Haunted Hill series, particularly Return To House On Haunted Hill?
@MrBnetV16 күн бұрын
We're assuming that the discovery of the ring was somewhere before Frodo destroyed it and that its presence on Earth for Indy/Sallah to find it is via some dimensional sliding shenanigans. As for Hyboria: We assume Conan lived on Earth in a time of prehistory. Baphomet, eh? What an unbelievable coincidence! Me and a group of friends were literally just discussing freedom of religion and cited the Arkansas case of the dueling statues with the Ten Commandments in one corner and Baphomet in the other, both permitted under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. It's taking forever to finish the current Indy adventures (post production) but Star Trek and Star Wars are next. As for what lies beyond...supernatural sounds good :D
@seanemery191716 күн бұрын
@@MrBnetV Okay, it's just that Hyboria and Arda, particularly Middle-Earth, are supposed to be our prehistoric past. Though I believe Hyboria is more believable as a prehistoric past. Yeah, it was in the second film and was used as an explanation for why Vannacutt became crazy

Perhaps a complicated plot for a fan-film. Simply put: Section 31 bad guy wants to go back in time and wipe humanity out with a bio weapon before it has a chance to evolve (in the dinosaur era). Our intrepid crew knows he's up to something and goes against orders to stop him. ***SPOILERS*** They board his ship and go back in time. Big brawl to stop Section 31 bad guy and his Gorn henchman, but they're too late and bad guy releases the virus -- effectively wiping out any chance of humanity existing. Time is ship destroyed, and stranded in the past. Captain and Vulcan are in a real "no-win scenario." Vulcan finds a way out by mind melding with the microorganisms present at the time in a primordial pool, transferring his Katra (living spirit) to the microbes and hoping that over millions of years his essence will guide whatever life DOES evolve in the new timeline to eventually undo what has been done and bring us back to our normal timeline (little lizard guy). All this is explained in the movie, but if there was one of my treks I'd like to go back and extend a bit, it's this one (which is also the personal favorite because of the plotline). Hope this helps.

As a long time TNG fan, this gets my approval. Like, comment, and subscribe for the algo. If I'm being picky, could have been a few minutes shorter, IE the race to the badge was longer tan it had to be. Great concept! Looking forward to more!

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I like my musical moments and action sequences (see "Forest Gorn stalking sequence" in our previous Trek, "Unfinished Business") so it's a style thing, I suppose. As a fellow fan of TNG, wasn't it grand that they finally got a decent ending with Picard Season 3?🖖
@muyeikasamurabi16022 ай бұрын
@@MrBnetV Oh, I'll check it out for sure. Thank you! I have yet to tackle the Picard series. I have 2 little ones and we will begin TNG and the orginal series soon. So I've been waiting. You really captured the "spirit" of Star Trek in this film, if that makes sense. I got this nostalgic feeling from when I was a kid while watching.
@MrBnetV2 ай бұрын
@@muyeikasamurabi1602 That means a lot. My first trek was The Final Frontier in 1989. Been hooked ever since. If you're doing Picard...you may want to save yourself some headaches and frustration and just go right to season 3 (After Star Trek Nemesis). It works beautifully that way. 1 & 2 have a moment here and there, but well....they're bad. Like being an Alien fan and watching Aliens vs Predator: Requiem. It's got things you like in it...but it's awful. Picard Season 3 is like a proper finale for TNG and does for that cast what the original series movies did for Kirk & Spock's generation.
@muyeikasamurabi16022 ай бұрын
@@MrBnetV Ahhh yes, I've heard the noise about how Picard went. I'll have to give it a whirl anyway to make up my own mind but the bar is set low so hopefully that means for a more enjoyable watch, should I get through all of season 1 and 2. I hear you about the AVP stuff too. Such a letdown.... And I agree, the original Kirk and Spock cast films really shined compared to the TV series whereas I feel TNG was better suited for episodes. IE the Borg/Locutus episodes far outshone any of the TNG films for me. The story was just so dang gripping. Anyhoo, that's an earfull. Cheers!

Don't stop creating! Once upon a time, being the IP holder conferred absolute control over a brand. That day is dead. If the IP holder refuses to bring out new content or insists on only bringing out degraded content, then we can make our own. I invite all my fellow Trekkers to enjoy another unauthorized novel completely free. Just google Star Trek Lost Destiny Race.
@MrBnetV2 ай бұрын
I'll have to check that out. Modern trek did give us Picard Season 3 (though we had to suffer through 1 & 2), so it's not all bad. I just wish they would get back to the core of classic Trek like TMP (director's cut) and TUC. Big ideas and big allegories with the fun of the original series but the boldness to do hard Sci-fi.

I'd like to think ship design has a minor bearing on a story. Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of the movie. I saw a Star Trek fan film today that was 80% CG starships floating around with some music taken from one of the movies...then a static scene with two actors relaying exposition for the rest of it. It had a beautiful thumbnail, but it was not a complete story (it was also monetized, which I disagree with for fanfilms). For better or worse, our plan is to have a complete story with each Star Trek fan film we do, and make it an adventure. LLAP

Great made and, in contrary to most other fan films, even the acting performance was quite good. But consider in future maybe to make the sounds less loud and the speaking louder. For me, who is not a native speaker it was damn difficult to understand some parts.
