That was so good! Very good acting! I also really was impressed with your use of props/toys. Excellent!

I've seen this video before and I'm not sure if I ever commented on it, however... This has to be one of the best Star Trek fan movies to ever exist. I mean, it's not hard to make a good Star Trek fan movie, considering all the others are godawful... But still, pretty damn good. It needs more views.

Very nicely done. Of course I'd have had him killed and eaten by that alien after killing the Vulcan and called it karma :D

Very well made. Better than most of those other fan made features. One complaint.. the sound effects for the tricorder... not needed. lol

i thought the Vulcan was gonna eat him! Illogical to take the risk of chatting with your prisoner and reveal such bad news to him.

Well made, suspenseful and interesting! Too bad the vulcan couldn't put himself into a metabolic trance and share his rations, although maybe there wasn't enough food for even this? I am curious to know how this human took out a vulcan, but you did it well enough that I accept the fact. Curious about Data's role...Captain? Did this officer come from the Enterprise then, or is Data in charge of another ship? Overall, an excellent Star Trek adventure!

Please make a sequel...the story line was cool but a higher quality camera would really bring to life what you are trying to convey to you audience.

Ah, you read my post. I did not expect that. Thank you.I just wanted to add that what I liked about the video is what has been missing from Star Trek for quite some time, namely less military and more contemplative. Gene Roddenberry used Star Trek as a morality play. Your take is quite interesting, as it discusses the downside of logic. One can use logic to justify almost anything and be shortsighted in the process. Alec Peters (Axanar) mentioned this point, but seeing the video firsthand definitely brought that home. You need to work on marketing. Had it not been for Alec Peters, I still would not know about your video. I presume that is why you only have at moment 10K views. It is not because of the quality, but simply people do not know about your video. You should think about a Kickstarter campaign to make a bigger budget longer project. You can use your current video as a basis that you know what you are doing, assuming that you want to do something a bit more complex.

I found out about this video from the Axanar email and all that I can say is not bad. I would not mind seeing the second part, once the view rate gets to 20K.

The good - Good effort, location, use of toys, soundtrack and acting on the part of the Cmdr. The bad - White balance? Shaky camerawork? Why is he climbing a sheer cliff? Why does Data's phaser work when Cmdr's doesn't? The ugly - terrible alien, the Vulcan would never decide to kill the officer, even if he had, he would have defeated him easily, and Data as a Captain?- when? why?
