Well i hope theres a feature thatcan disable the settlement limit. Always hated a management game where im limited in how much i can grow. Soo much unused land in Civ games just bugs me and i have to settle them. If not ill just use cheats and play my way anyways. That or stick with the previous game....that one is amazing just the way it is

Towns seem good for claiming areas of land that wouldn’t make for good cities (too little production around) but that you still want to control.

Please make one of these for every Civ. Of course we don't know how the flow of things will really be until we play, but I appreciate your thoughtful use of the information we do have :)

Finally a good idea for both wide and tall gameplay. I like both in strategy games but usually one os often strictly better, usually the wide strategy, but that's just extra work imo.

The town mechanic is GENIUS for not having to manage 20 different production queues late game. You can have 5 cities that produce using production and spend gold in the towns when you need to build units or buildings.

Jesus, this game looks so freaking good. I love playing civilization, yet I get bored pretty quickly. It also feels so out of place playing ancient civs on modern ages or vice versa, and most civs arent very different one from another In this game everything feels extremely different in playstyle, every age has somewhat historical civilizations from its time, all of them feel unique and you get to play THREE in a single playthrough... I am definitely excited to play and probably will be the first time I buy it on launch, instead of waiting for a sale.

Great video! I'm really curious to know who they will choose to be the leader of Greece this time, maybe Pericles again?
@de621223 күн бұрын
Not all civs will have a leader. Probably after DLCs most will
@mat_correa22 күн бұрын
@de6212 Is a big turn off to me if Greece launchs without a leader. We're talking of one of, If not THE most important civilization in human history. If the fucking Songhai comes with a unique leader, Greece should definitely have one too.

Do you know if we are stuck with just one map option or can we craft various options to choose or not choose some of the gameplay ie: tech trading like previous Civs?

Oh brother, this guy stinks!! For developers who want to get these civs right, not one of them can pronounce any of the names associated with each civs correctly. But, civilization has never been known for using the correct pronunciation or the language correctly in-game. I'm still going to buy it, but it gets me as a person who had to learn multiple languages from a young age becausemy family alway on the move. Many folks take pride in their linguistics heritage and will look at the game as a Google translate low effort offering. There are already videos of people breaking down how the languages spoken in Civ7 are wrong and have used modern language words and structure. There are a few languages that you can do this with because they are dead languages with no current references, but Ancient Egyptian are not one of them. Heck, even Aztec, Olmec, and Myan is still spoken spoken in small tribes throughout the regions of central America. Maybe next time, Sid can employ some more historically accurate linguistics people to pen his dialog.
