Im guessing religion is going to be one of the ways to push culture victory in the exploration age, as we know religion is in the game, but we will have to see how it ties in.

Great video. Is anyone worried about micro-managing resources? With a chunky number of settlements I can imagine as they progress shifting them around becoming painful.

"All of your cities from the previous age remain cities" I'm sorry, what? What happens to my cities at the end of an Age? Where do they go?

Do you get victory for each age? I thought you only won 1 time per game.

He explains at the start of the video. You don't win ages, instead you can complete legacy paths, which unlock powerful bonuses on your next age that can give you a significant edge. Everytime someone advances on a legacy path the game gets closer to advancing to a different age, so it's possible the age advances with a weaker player not advacing completely on any legacy path and thus not getting those powerful bonuses on the next age. However it's balanced a little from snowballing because you can only pick ONE powerful bonus for the next age, so if you complete all four legacy paths and you decide to pick the economical legacy path bonus for your next age, you'll be just as powerful as the other player who only did the economic legacy path (the only difference is doing all the legacy paths gives you more choice about which bonus to pick).

@@bleesev2Thank you for explaining. I am not a native english speaker nor am I a Civ player. I only tried Civ 6 for a few hours with gaps through out 2 years 😅. I couldnt get in to it, because I think I have a pretty short attention span. But I am interested in this 4x strategy game since something is so very appealing to me in Civilization, I dont know what exactly. But so how will the winner be decided if there are no ultimate Victory conditions for the whole game, or there are?

@@bleesev2 Aha okay. So if you dont mind can I ask your opinion? Since I barely played Civ at all. Do you think Civ 7 will be a good place to start? I heard "experts"/streamers who play Civ say that the game will be more casual. To me that sounds good as a beginner but I feel bad for the veterans if it is the case 😅.

@@sclipta because you said you had a lower attention span I think it would be. Civ 7 is split into three parts so it's a little more streamlined in each part. Instead of a game lasting 600 turns, you have 3 games each lasting 200 turns, so might be a bit easier for you to get into.

There are more than 7 wonders in the age so multiple people can progress through the culture legacy path

Thank the gods, so to speak. I don't mind the idea of a religious victory, but really hate how it was implemented in Civ 6. If we do get one in Civ 7 (you never know, Civ 6 introduced the Diplomatic Victory in one of the expansions), I hope it's a bit more interesting than just spamming missionaries or apostles.
