I think the egg bois are some kind of golems or humunculi that Sir Pentious created using his powers, kind of similar to how Alastor can summon up those demon familiars to do things like maintain the hotel or attack his enemies. Of course Pentious is nowhere NEAR as powerful as Alastor so of course his eggs are nowhere near the level of his demon minions

the thing with Greek gods is they're not invincible or completely all-powerful with their domains. Gods have their own "rules" that they abide by their very nature. Like how Poseidon couldn't just make another storm after the first one was trapped in the bag. They're able to be defeated and wounded, and it's happened in Greek mythos before. Sisyphus managed to overpower and capture either Thanatos or Hades depending on the version. Ares and Aphrodite were injured by mortals before. Plus, the gods consume ambrosia to sustain their power If Poseidon was just waiting by the shore this whole time, then that's 10 years of him not consuming ambrosia. By all means, he could be weaker than normal!

10:25 My 2 cents on the Laser VS Mirror question A laser is a high intensity, highly focused beam of light, any weaponised laser would cause damage by delivering a lot of energy to a small point and heating it up until burns a hole. Mirrors and any other reflective surface work by bouncing the EM radiation that makes up light without absorbing it. But nothing is 100% perfect at this so a small amount of the energy would still be absorbed and slowly heat up the object So ultimately a powerful enough laser could burn a hole through a mirror, but until it does something like 99% of that energy is going to be bouncing off to hit another object

Mirrors reflect light. Lasers are light. It's simple. If the impact of the theoretical laser is strong enough to break the mirror, it will break it. If it isn't, it will be reflected back. Incidentally, the same logic works for a basketball. 🏀
