Funfact! Aside from the fact that it was supposed to be a funny call-back to episode 5 where V had glasses, Im pretty sure the reason she had them on is so that the sentinel flashes would bounce off of the lenses :) As a way or protecting herself against them

I pretty sure the reason V wore her glasses this episode is to see things clearly/more precisely. We know her vision wasn't that good when she was a worker drone (see ep 5, 17:03-17:09 (before glasses), 17:25-17:37 (after glasses)), and, as far as I know, it's never been confirmed that Cyn/the Solver fixed V's vision. V's job as a disassembly drone didn't require much precision because of her fighting style and weaponry (see Unclaimed_username's comment). The glasses allowed her to accurately catch the bullet. It's doubtful V's glasses would reflect off of the lenses since they're transparent. Also, if her glasses were meant to protect herself from the flashes, she wouldn't need to turn away from the flashes (see 35:24, this video (20:22 original video)).

34:25 So, fun fact: V *can't see SHIT without her glasses.* If you go back and check out her fighting style until now it's one of of three things 1: Melee (doesn't need to see far if they're right in front of her) 2: Missiles (AoE means aiming is a suggestion) 3: Spray and Pray (Aiming is a luxury when bullets aren't) You can also see the difference in episode 5 when she immediately becomes dexterous when N gives her glasses back to her. All this time, and implied the entire time she's been fighting on Copper Nine, she's been blind as a bat. It also explains her "Who are you?!" comment in EP 1, now that all this LORE has been dropped: she couldn't tell who it was.

Doll is against the others because the Murder Drones killed her family, but Uzi is siding with them. We learn this in The Promening. I believe she’s in the labs to find out the origin of the Absolute Solver. I’m not super educated with all of the lore, but that’s what I think. xD

So it sounds like you were wanting some more context/explanation. It’s normal to be confused; it’s sort of the nature of the show to encourage looking for details to figure out what’s going on. A lot of things will be explained later and would be spoilers to explain. Here’s some things that we do know so far without going into spoilers if that would help: We know from what Tessa was saying is that the location in this episode was a lab from humans to learn and understand what the solver is and how to counter it. It already destroyed Earth and Copper 9 and this lab seems to be humanities last hope and stronghold. Part of this plan was to infect worker drones with the solver virus program to study it and try to find a way to fight back. The dinosaur velociraptors sentinels are there to do this with less risk of the infected drones to fight back. (Solver uses drones as hosts) anti drone systems makes it safer to study them if something goes wrong. At 20:34 we can see a photograph of Uzi’s mom (Nori her name revealed in her ID card in episode 4) using the solver just like Uzi. Doll’s mother (Yeva name from ID card in episode 3) is to the left of her holding her eye seemingly hurt by Uzi’s mom or struggling with her own infection. Alice or the crazy girl who just captured everyone this episode has her face smashed against the wall on the right. Frantic drawings of the solver symbol are written in supposedly Alice’s oil. They were all test subjects here with Nori (Uzi’s mom) seemingly infected with the solver to be studied. Nori seemed to have gone crazy and drew crazed drawings as seen in Khan’s closet locked away with her stuff. So far without spoiling it can be identified that she drew obsessively about the murder drones before they appeared. Both Doll and Uzi got their Solver infections passed on by their mothers through their coding. (I don’t think it’s actually explained inside the show how drone genetics work but basically the parents just combine their code to put into the baby drone neural network) Yellow eyes and solver = Cyn/Absolute Solver is in control which is why she says to N “Miss me?” at 34:35. N ought to remember who Cyn is now with his partial memories regained of the manor flashback/gala. The robotic voice is also another sign when it is Cyn. This is the same Cyn from the flashback in episode 5. She is seen in the episode 5 flashback playing with toy dolls puppeting them and in episode 2 she calls Uzi and her mom her “cute puppets”. Cyn likes to basically control and puppet characters as her assets. This is a callback to Solver telling her that she will not be discarded in her self reboot screen at the dump. (Cyn and Solver are fused at this point) She later tells Tessa the same thing. Basically Absolute Solver is a program that rebuilds and repairs. It does not like throwing things away and promises to use and repurpose things forever. The reason Solver abilities are fleshy and organic are from what you’ve seen so far and took notice of yourself, the Solver is a sort of auto-run program to regrow the Murder drone parts. It collects matter and repurposes/transmutes it to create something else (Alchemy from FMA basically if you know). You may be wondering how do you take robots and make organic matter, but remember that oil IS organic. The main thing both Uzi, Doll, (Solver users/hosts) and the Murder drones all specifically need to eat to keep running to do the things that they do. Both Uzi and Murder drones like N burn up in the sunlight. When you kill and cut open a Murder drone, Solver will come out of it and attempt to rebuild it manually. Solver is undeniably connected to Murder drones and it is inside of them and bursts out as a last resort, however Cyn/Absolute Solver gets control at that state. Sorry if that was a lot, but it kept sounding throughout the episode that you were confused and really wanted some more understanding of what’s happening. You really are doing really well picking up on everything and understanding the story though. Murder Drones is just one of those series that really relies on the long times between episode releases for theorising and analysing all the details. And also! Happy birthday, man!! Thank you for providing incredible content. Your reactions are very in depth and enjoyable to watch always. They always make my day when they come out. Don't worry, confusion is just part of the ride lol Though sadly, yes, there are only 2 episodes left. It has been confirmed by Glitch that episode 8 is the series finale, so there are no plans for a season 2. They have mentioned wanting to do other projects in the Murder Drones universe, though, so hopefully we can get some cool stuff out of that someday! Also, happy (early) birthday! Just want to point out a couple of cute moments that I'm not sure if you caught since you didn't mention them: At 6:41 you can see Tessa petting N's hair while he is holding her after landing. And at 7:17, Uzi's tail is chewing on N's hair (or maybe his hat). All the ladies love N's hair lol

You missed some cute moments: After the Doll chase scene the main three fly in and when they land, Uzi teeters, N offers a hand, and she slaps him away. After landing in the labs Tessa is in N's arms and she pets his hair After N asks "Is the secret elevator, labeled?" V rolls her eyes ans in the background Uzi's tail is biting N's hat. Another thing, many have noticed that the way Tessa props her chin in her hands in 28:11 is similair to how Cyn does. And by way of explanation, the Solver isn't protecting Uzi. Uzi's purple abilities are called solver, but those are hers. However as she yses the solver abilities more and more, THE Solver (the charachter) starts to possess her body. The Solver does what it does, but you'll notice that it uses the ability Null, which is like a black hole. In a flashback in episode four, we see a giant Null over Earth. Also Cyn=Solver. As you noticed but might not have understood, at the beginning of episode five, The Solver asks Cyn to let it take over her body in the dump, Cyn accepts this. You think you know little, but as soon as the twists are revealed you will understand so much more. Honestly I love this series, but it is more enjoyable on the rewatch. I love your reactions!

I'm a day late but that makes it the perfect time to say happy birthday!!! Btw the sentinels are apparently based off of not only velociraptors but also mythological basilisks! Drones frozen by looking into its camera lense = humans turned to stone by looking into its eyes 9:24 I feel like that's kinda accurate though, Murder Drones is like one of those stories where it's meant to be a mystery almost the whole way through, but while that makes it confusing the first time around, it also makes it that much more satisfying to rewatch at the end when you understand what's going on! Or maybe I'm just obsessed, I have seen the whole thing at least three times at this point lol 12:11 it does in fact do that! I have done it by accident to an old laptop multiple times because I am an idiot. It also happens with strong magnets irl, as seen here! I may be too curious of a person but that laptop did survive at least another year before it quit on me so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 16:36 SIR. Alright, time for one more pile of thoughts and responses -- my errands today can wait: - The series only ran for 8 episodes, so yeah, you're nearly done. Hell, the final episode dropped only a few weeks before you started the series, which is probably a big reason why people were recommending it all at once. (Also, happy birthday, dude!) - The flash of blue light does seem like it might be some kind of short-range EM pulse, though the 'paralysis' behaves more like _lag_ from the looks of it -- variations in OS aesthetic aside, the Wheel of Doom is a pretty universal sign that your machine isn't going to be doing anything in a hurry. I'm not sure how the ability works, but it could be overloading the Drones' processors. - _Interesting..._ So the _company_ didn't send the Disassembly Drones, from the sound of things -- _Cyn_ did, with or without the influence of the Solver. (I've had some stimulating conversations with other fans about exactly how much of Cyn's behavior is Cyn herself versus the Solver that revived her -- at the moment, I'm not sure Cyn's completely gone, if only because I don't see how the Solver would benefit from playing nice with N years ago. I'll use 'Cyn' to refer to them both going forward, but until I say otherwise, I still think they're distinct, and will mention the Solver separately as needed.) - I _love_ me some stylish Blink-based movements! - Constructing the Spire out of scrapped Worker Drones was _Cyn's_ idea? Given that the Solver's been shown to be able to modify scrapped Drones, maybe the goal is to use the Spires as some kind of relay system or broadcast antenna? - Looks like the Cabin Fever facilities were installed in existing complexes large enough to not notice the additional power draw. An open-pit copper mine and refinery would be the _perfect_ place to hide a lab, given the power spikes of the mining machines and the constant flow of material shipments in and out. - I was thinking about it on a rewatch of the earlier episodes while looking for more clues, but I feel like it's potentially significant that Nori's color scheme (and, by extension, Uzi's) is an inverse of Cyn's. Basic color theory holds that Purple directly contrasts Yellow, though in RGB color, both have Red in common -- a Cyan scheme would complete the array. But it stuck out to me that Nori's premonitions were _protective_ -- building the bunker doors to stave off "the coming sky-demons" and "the Singularity" was _her_ idea, not _Khan's._ Did Nori know something about what the Solver was planning for Copper-9...? - 'LIGHTS BELOW'. _Now_ it makes sense. - If it makes you feel any better, dude, _I_ don't know what's going on either. I'm puzzling this out right along with you, while fighting the urge to watch ahead. - ...Okay, we've got more disquieting imitations... and, apparently, someone showed the Drones _The Hills Have Eyes._ Lovely. - LCD displays, or at least older ones, had that kind of effect when you applied pressure. I don't see it as much anymore since touchscreens became the standard, though. - ...'Mom backstory' _indeed._ Keep talking, Alice, you have my attention. - 87104. Jotting that down, ya never know. - Sticking a bunch of magnets that close to each other might actually _decrease_ their effect. The more the individual fields start pulling against one another, the less they'll be pulling against the surface they're stuck to -- it's not a _complete_ negation unless you're dealing with specialized magnets, but Uzi's display wasn't glitching out as much with four magnets as it had been with one. - Okay, so Nori's color scheme was the _same_ as Cyn's -- it's just _Uzi's_ that's contrasting. _Innnnteresting..._ - ...Maybe it's just my childhood love of dinosaurs, but I'd love a Robo-Raptor home security system. They're like turkeys, only _more_ bloodthirsty! - ...That hole in spacetime where the Earth's core should be is _actively defying the laws of physics._ The gravitational pull of the fragments of the planet should be pulling them closer together on its own, even if that anomaly somehow _didn't_ have gravity of its own -- we've seen the Solver apparently defy physics before when it transmuted inorganic matter into living tissue (or _transported_ the two across spacetime instantly), but the _scale_ of its power... I wasn't far off the mark calling its powers 'godlike' the last time, was I? - ...That's _Nori. _*_Nori_* unleashed the Solver on Copper-9. No *_wonder_* V distrusted Uzi! - Good to know that the people who developed the Sentinels coded them to recognize that 'Blood = Bad'. Asimov's Laws are a bit squidgy and open to interpretation, but it's hard to mistake blood. - "Oh. Don't Mind. Me." ...oh *_fuck._* - Dunno why N's OS keeps trash-talking him when it runs its auto-repair, but it's kind of funny. - I suspect Doll's trying to beat the others to the facility because she knows Tessa's goal is to destroy the labs and everything in them -- she's after answers, and picking them out of the rubble isn't an option. - Same manic grin as Cyn. That _is_ bad... - A swordfight with a mechanical raptor, followed by a self-sacrifice play and a passing of the role of protector... seriously, *_what_*_ a closer!_ Waiting another week for each new episode just keeps getting _harder!_

@The.Original.Phoenix7 Went back to recheck Episode 2, since that's the only time we've seen a color image of Nori. It looks like I was closer initially, as her display seems to have the same color scheme as Uzi's, or at least near enough -- which makes sense, all things considered. What threw me off was Alice's comment about Nori having _yellow_ eyes, and the footage of Nori channeling the Solver that seemed to suggest the same -- but thinking about it, _Uzi_ has briefly had flickers of yellow in her display whenever the Solver started slipping out of her control, and the implication that the Solver can take control of her body suggests that that color scheme is more linked to an advanced infection by its program (which doesn't bode well for the Disassembly Drones, either, and makes me wonder if Cyn wasn't doing something _else_ to N and V in that cellar besides reprogramming their memories with a lobotomy kit). One thing about Uzi's Solver that did catch my eye on a second watch was that, for a moment, it looked like she was able to have _two_ color schemes at once -- yellow on one half, purple on the other. If she's somehow able to command the Solver's power without falling under its influence completely, I feel like that might be a key factor in the confrontation with Cyn that's bound to be coming -- the Solver itself is another matter, but facing off with its favorite avatar feels like a necessary plot point before the end, especially since we don't know how the _last_ showdown ended.

I think the reason doll isnt on uzis side is because either: she is mad or untrusting of N and V (1 of which killed her parents) or she sees the group as a giant distraction that she doesnt want to get involved with, since it will impede her progress on trying to look for a way to get rid of her solver infection

Alright, I’ll do my best to explain what the Solver is, bearing in mind that this is based upon heavy speculation. In the realm of science it can generally be understood that the laws of physics are essentially complex algorithms that can be used to accurately predict certain outcomes. There is an algorithm for virtually anything, which equally means that there must be an algorithm for rewriting the laws of physics. The Solver itself is present in all JCJensen Drones to allow for enhanced learning capabilities, it is simply filtered through an OS which gives the drones their personality and limits their learning capacity to human levels. When Cyn rebooted in the junk heap, her OS didn’t reboot with her, leaving only the Solver, which began to mutate, and learn and learn and learn at an accelerated rate, until it eventually found the aforementioned equation that allows it to bend the laws of reality. Kind of a monkeys at a typewriter scenario. This is why it can generate [Null] spheres, grow extra limbs and transmute organic matter to inorganic and vice versa. It is interacting and influencing matter at an atomic scale using what is essentially incredibly advanced mathematics. That or it’s an Eldritch God manifesting through robots, take your pick

Two episodes to go! I know this show can be pretty confusing. There are quite a few things I didn't understand until I rewatched it. But judging from the stuff you've been saying as you react, you haven't been coming to any wildly incorrect conclusions about what's going on-- which is better than most can say! Yeah, the series is officially over, i personally really like how it wraps up, but with this kinda crazy world there is all kinds of potential to continue it into another season or more. However, considering Glitch is an indie team, if they ever wanna continue the show they can absolutely just make a second season. For now they are focused on The Amazing Digital Circus, but once that is done they can always return to Murder Drones if they ever feel like it.
