I wish someone would make high C after market batteries so you could do 200+ kw charging on legacy cars. I wonder if the wiring would need to be upgraded to handle high state of charge.

I drove the SUV in Shanghai and I was blown away blown away absolutely amazing cars. Elon definitely doesn’t want these cars in America because it will be game over for Tesla. That’s why they’re taking over in China and Tesla is selling a lot less cars than they used to cause they’re outdated and out perform by the Chinese EVs no competition there😊 he’s pretty sad that we cannot buy one in the US

@@faheemabbas3965 Actually now that Trump is in office, contrary to popular belief it's "more" likely that NIO will come to the US "and" open a factory here. Give it a few months.... they will cut a deal. I'm not a fan of Trump as a person, but the fact is... he is a business man (not the greatest even). But Tesla NEEDS China -> and Trump and the USA NEEDS Tesla. This is all business and politics. Don't listen to what Trump says but watch what he does.... we need the jobs and industry here. There is no way any nation is going to survive without China, those are facts. Oddly Biden was the one who placed the 100% tariffs.

The real test would be to try it with a salvaged Tesla that has its VIN blocked by Tesla to see if it allows the car to take a charge.

The 90kw battery is 400v while the 75kw is 350v. The charger, and motor controllers also have to be changed.

I got the boost for free when they were giving 1000points for demo drive referrals and it cost 9500 points. Soooo it was worth it no matter what the results are but I notice it much more in the rolling acceleration. So on the highway and I hit it it seems like that is where it shines. But I didn't do any before tests. Is it worth the $??? that's a judgement call but its defiantly got more get up and go. IMHO I think a lot more.

I don’t know enough to really speak on this but wouldn’t a LiDar like overlay assist all the cameras like “tesla vision” renders it just doesn’t seem to engage emergency brakes…😅 why though?

Yes, a Lidar would certainly assist the software. Every other manufacture has taken the lidar approach.

This will be so great for the west coast only. We have plenty of sun. However, they claim it will be affordable but what about the maintenance cost and wait ✋️. The best question is how much will the damn insurance companies rape us from? The future and a great car but I see maintenance prices beyond and the wait but most importantly the insurance companies will rob us big time with lies
