I’ve heard many conversations considering whether Catholics are Christian’s. Mark 1:15 is clear that to be saved we must believe the gospel of Jesus. Believing Mary was sinless and therefore equal with Jesus is blasphemy and completely contrary to the gospel. Claiming she’s our intercessor when the gospel says Jesus is is also blasphemy. Praying to her is contrary to the gospel and by definition idolatry. I could give many other examples but I think the answer to the question is very clear Catholics are not Christian’s and are not saved. I’ve tried witnessing to so many of them but they simply won’t hear Gods truth. It’s not going to end well for them

many non-Catholics do not understand the Mass. Television evangelist Jimmy Swaggart once wrote, “The Roman Catholic Church teaches that the Holy Mass is an expiatory sacrifice, in which the Son of God is actually sacrificed anew on the cross” (Swaggart, Catholicism and Christianity). The late Loraine Boettner, the dean of anti-Catholic Fundamentalists, said the Mass is a “jumble of medieval superstition.” Vatican II puts the Catholic position succinctly: “At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic Sacrifice of his Body and Blood. He did this in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the centuries until he should come again, and so to entrust to his beloved spouse, the Church, a memorial of his death and resurrection: a sacrament of love, a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a paschal banquet in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us” (Sacrosanctum Concilium 47). Even a modestly informed Catholic can set an inquirer right and direct him to biblical accounts of Jesus’ final night with his disciples. Turning to the text, we read, “And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me’” (Luke 22:19). The Greek here and in the parallel Gospel passages (Matt. 26:26; Mark 14:22) reads: Touto estin to soma mou. Paul’s version differs slightly: Touto mou estin to soma (1 Cor. 11:24). They all translate as “This is my body.” The verb estin is the equivalent of the English “is” and can mean “is really” or “is figuratively.” The usual meaning of estin is the former (check any Greek grammar book), just as, in English, the verb “is” usually is taken literally. Some Fundamentalists say the word “is” is used because Aramaic, the language Christ spoke, had no word for “represents.” But as Cardinal Nicholas Wiseman showed a century ago, Aramaic has about three dozen words that can mean “represents.” Fundamentalists insist that when Christ says, “This is my body,” he is speaking figuratively. But this interpretation is precluded by Paul’s discussion of the Eucharist in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29 and by the whole tenor of John 6, the chapter where the Eucharist is promised. The Greek word for “body” in John 6:54 is sarx, which means physical flesh, and the word for “eats” (trogon) translates as “gnawing” or “chewing.” This is certainly not the language of metaphor. The Catholic position The Church teaches that the Mass is the re-presentation of the sacrifice of Calvary. It does not teach that the Mass is a re-crucifixion of Christ, who does not suffer and die again in the Mass. Yet, it is more than just a memorial service. John A. O’Brien, writing in The Faith of Millions, said, “On the cross Christ really shed his blood and was really slain; in the Mass, however, there is no real shedding of blood, no real death; but the separate consecration of the bread and of the wine symbolizes the separation of the body and blood of Christ and thus symbolizes his death upon the cross. The Mass is the renewal and perpetuation of the sacrifice of the cross in the sense that it offers [Jesus] anew to God . . . and thus commemorates the sacrifice of the cross, reenacts it symbolically and mystically, and applies the fruits of Christ’s death upon the cross to individual human souls. All the efficacy of the Mass is derived, therefore, from the sacrifice of Calvary” (306). “

So your requirement is aL to begin with. 2. Not from Scriptures is already non truth. Bible says God’s Word is truth. 3. 95% of RC doctrines did not come from Scriptures. Thus proven wrong. I will need you to prove my listed doctrines are found in Scriptures. You can’t. Thus it’s non truth.(proven and remain irrefutable). 😆

The Catholic Church is the church founded by Christ : In the first three hundred years of the Church, in addition to belief in the Trinity and the incarnation, the extant documents reveal widespread belief in: The Real presence of Christ (Body and Blood) in the Eucharist. The Eucharist as the Sacrifice of the New Covenant Baptismal regeneration Apostolic succession The necessity to maintain the Unity of the Church Necessity of Bishops for a valid eucharist Prayers of the Dead Relics The formal designation of Catholic for the One Church Demonstrations of papal primacy Sign of the cross at prayers Examples of prayers to the saints Whatever this church was, it wasn’t Protestant. There is no way to deep dive into the history of the church and come away with it as having any ressemblance of Protestant faith and practice. Catholicism, on the other hand, can walk backward through history and arrive at the beginning of the Church.

For example, for non-Lutherans, a good test would be: Could Martin Luther pastor your church, given his beliefs in things like baptismal regeneration, infant baptism, high predestination, and the Real Presence? The problem is much more general than Luther, however. Pastors from one Protestant tradition typically are not allowed to serve as pastors in Protestant churches of other traditions. A Lutheran’s belief in baptismal regeneration will prevent him from pastoring a Calvinist church, a Calvinist’s belief in high predestination will prevent him from pastoring a Methodist church, a Methodist’s belief in infant baptism will prevent him from pastoring a Baptist church, and so on.

Herews 7:24-28 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore he is able to save completely[c] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need-one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

Gen. 14:18 - this is the first time that the word “priest” is used in Old Testament. Melchizedek is both a priest and a king and he offers a bread and wine sacrifice to God. Psalm 76:2 - Melchizedek is the king of Salem. Salem is the future Jeru-salem where Jesus, the eternal priest and king, established his new Kingdom and the Eucharistic sacrifice which He offered under the appearance of bread and wine.

40:22. He says "You have to pay for the Mass." This is false. 1) It's not required. 2) It's not paying for the graces of the Mass. The money is offered freely for the support of the priest and for expenses incurred (eg, wine isn't cheap). 40:48 "There's a nuptial Mass for a wedding. That'll cost you more." Again, the Mass is not being priced. People are typically offering more for the time of the priest as he has to change up his schedule to fit in a wedding.

The Bible does not give us permission to create traditions and dogmas that contradict God's word. *Catechism 969* says that Mary is a *Mediatrix.* There's no way that Mary can be a mediator if *1 Timothy 2:5* says that Jesus is the only mediator. False doctrine and apostate churches are a trap.

John McArthur, I think it is VERY wrong of you to accuse the Catholic Church of being demonic because she believes that in the Last Supper Jesus instituted the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the priesthood, and the Catholic Mass. Assuming that its interpretation of Jesus' words is wrong, isn't it a stretch to call such interpretation "demonic? Demonic is what separates you from Christ. The Catholic Mass does not separate you from Christ if you heart has been transformed by the Holy Spirit.

God has one Church, I remain convinced, that both, the Catholic, and Protestant religions, are confused regarding the teachings of Christ, and the Apostles doctrine. Much Hersey in both organizations, Protestant church looks much like the World, and the Catholic church is happy to join them. God has a church, his children, keep his commandments, and all while keeping themselves unspotted from the world. Religion in America is not some good and some bad. It is false vs God's church. Strait is the way, and narrow is the gate, and few there be, that find it. Beware of denominational error, and refuse to be decieved, the Catholics are no better or worse than pagan Protestant religion!

It is hard to believe that a seemingly intelligent believer in Christ could deny Christ's command to take and eat His body and blood in His memory. He sounds like Bill Clinton's lawyers who try to redefine "is." If he did honest, open-minded research, Christ's sacrifice is called to mind, not 'repeated' at each Mass. The oblation at the Mass is linked to Calvary through the lens of eternitym
