McLeach is my favourite Disney Animation villain, as he was more intimidating than his predecessor Madame Medusa. Medusa was generally a well written villainess, but one is more realistic, as poachers do exist in real life and are just as dangerous because majority won’t hesitate to harm people who attempt to stop them, which is what gives him that fear factor, as well as being afraid for Cody’s safety, especially later on in the movie. He’s cruel, sadistic and selfish in personality which makes him even scarier. McLeach additionally tricked the rangers into thinking Cody had fallen into crocodile infested waters and died, by tossing Cody’s backpack in so nobody would think he was kidnapped by a dangerous monster. Additionally that truck he drives, the Bushwhacker, was jaw droppingly amazing and chilling to look at, his home/hideout in the abandoned opal mines was just as sinister and empty. Also McLeach was just inches away from succeeding in his goal, and is perfectly alright with threatening Cody with weapons, including knifes and his gun, which is horrifying. Overall, everything about this character is bleak, disturbing and terrifying and I think it’s done really well to make the viewer think that’s definitely one person you wouldn’t want to meet in the Australian Outback. Nowadays, McLeach somewhat reminds me of Freddy Krueger, as they both wisecrack while being so cruel threatening and totally sadistic towards their victims, maybe that’s just me though. Hopefully with the recognition this movie is getting more recently, McLeach may get brought back into more cameos and roles in the future. It would be very cool if he was made into a boss in Kingdom Hearts for example.

Never have I hated this movie, in fact this is my third favourite Star Wars movie after Empire and Revenge. It is such a charming and beautiful film, and I genuinely see it as perfect. If you asked me to name one thing in it that I didn't like, I wouldn't be able to tell you. 10/10. Thank you for making this video because I am beyond tired of people sleeping on this movie, it is phenomenal!

I loved Muppets treasure Island but that's probably because it was the first "old school" Muppets movie I saw. I was able to see the world premier of Muppets most wanted (though I was 12 when it came out) so that one also holds a special place in my heart. I could never really get into a Christmas carol though. Not sure why.

So I'm not sure if this is the case with American Disney merch, but in China and Japan they LOVE Lotso. Not the way people love villains like Jafar or Gaston, but like he's just a uwu teddy bear. Tons of cute fluffy merch. Entire sets of blind box figurines that are nothing but Lotso. Never a hint that he's a villainous character. I guess it works in a meta sense, like within the universe of Toy Story most Lotso Bears were "normal" toys and it's just this particular one that went rogue. Anyway, I just found that interesting.

I do agree, it's not the worst movie in the world not by far, I do think it's pretty decent at the end of the day, but yes it is also pretty overrated, I don't feel this to be a masterpiece like maby a lot of other people do, but again it's only opinion , I don't hate the film, but I don't love it either.

I find this sequel is more disturbing to me than anything else. I mean, ralph is in his 30's, and Vanellope can't be any older than 10. Yet, he is still very clingy and not in a fatherly or brotherly way...

The Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi, and the Force Awakens are the most "cinematic" of all the Star Wars movies in their story, aesthetic, score, and action. TPM is my favorite of all of them.

I just want to point a little retcon that ive noticed between the two movies... And thats the fact that Mike mentions that Sully's been jealous of Mike's looks since the 4th Grade. He says this in the first movie. And this movie makes it out to seem like this is the first time they've ever met. Just a little continuity error that the makers of MU forgot to take into account

18:28 Nope, I’m Glad John Rolfe Ended up with Pocahontas. Not only is it more historical accurate but Rolfe and Pocahontas do have chemistry. 25:53 As an eleven year old. 31:17 I like Milo as a protagonist and a love interest To Kida.

I think you misspoke; it wasn't that Hopper never had power; his power was built on a weak foundation which collapsed because it had nothing to support it. 🤔

I always thought that Hopper was similar to Negan from The Walking Dead. They both offer their "protection" to other groups in exchange for food/supplies. While Hopper never actually squished anyone aside from his own gang members, Negan surely has squished some heads with his lovely barb wire bat Lucille.

I had a similar idea for a sequel, where they'd use the internet to travel into a computer or game console, and crossover into many game worlds. Heck, maybe it could have reflected console wars, like Ralph getting separated onto a Nintendo console, Vanellope in a Sony Console, and Felix and Calhoune in an Xbox. The 4 heroes end up getting tangled up in a war between mascots across 3 consoles, and try stopping the madness. In the end, the war stops when the console armies realize they're hurting their image. The kids who play their games don't care about which console is best, they just want to escape from reality and play as their favorite heroes and villains. It could also be revealed that the real villain was an AI that represents mobile gaming, who was trying to eliminate consoles, so phone apps with microtransactions are the only source of games. The movie would have a bitter sweet ending reflecting how not everyone can get along, but it's better to avoid conflicts respectfully, than to eliminate others for being from a differing side. We could see how some console mascots wish to be friends with a rival console, but they have to accept the legalities of it being impossible.

You can tell this sequel was written by someone who hates men, and has to portray women as perfect, despite coming across as hypocritical and annoying. This is not how you write equality into films...

Something I noticed just now that makes this whole thing even more perfect, is that Vanellope’s “glitch” isn’t an unintended side-effect of what king candy did, but an *actual mechanic inside of sugar rush.* I realized this when paying attention at around 27:10 when someone is playing as Vanellope and uses her glitch to get past the two other racers ahead. If you notice closely, there are three (3) cubes (sugar cubes? idk) at the top of the screen. When she glitches, one of the cubes disappears, implying that this is an intentional game mechanic and not an actual glitch. (why else would there be special ui for it if it wasn’t?) This adds so much to the message of the move… that I do not have enough time to say, so hopefully someone else can pick up where I left off, thanks!

I do get why this movie is not a good movie. For me it's a nostalgia watch that I saw so so so often as a kid. So I do sortof love it. But I do see the flaws too. When it was still an active channel I watched a lot of Sideways videos on music in in movies. In his video on Tarzan (which is now Unlisted I guess??) He spoke about why that movie's music did not work in connection to the storytelling because it's Phil Collins singing, not the characters. Which really limits their character development. And he mentioned the same thing happens in this movie. Aside from the villain song none of the other songs other than i suppose Grace's awful singing are by the characters themselves. It's just music from the sky or from an unseen narrator being played over montages of events. And the songs themselves can be good dont get me wrong. I can still cry my eyes out at " Will the sun ever shine again". And the credits song "Anytime you need a friend" was a fave of mine too. But none of the songs connect to the characters aside from Slim and his song. So the characters suffer as a result. In Tarzan they kinda got away with that and still made a decent movies because they got a lot of the other stuff right in the story department. But in Home on the Range they made a bunch of other mistakes with the writing like you describe that meant they didn't have anything left to fall back on when the music failed too. So long story short: that kinda explains why the psychedelic Yodeling song has long been my favorite part of this movie. And why the line "Which ain't easy when your chaps are labeled XXXXL" is still in my brain to this day. On the topic of why his yodeling works on the cows btw: Maybe I'm stretching this and giving the writers more credit than they deserve. But in some scandinavian cultures nad history there is such a things as cattle herding songs that I think are called "Yoiking" that do bear some vague similarity to yodeling. And which is used to call large herds of cows down from the mountains after grazing there. They may have copied that parts of that concept for Slims magical yodeling.
