I do appreciate your report of the facts in the death of Pope John Paul. I had such faith in what he would bring to the Church's positions on Faith and social action. It was an electric shock to me when he died, and it was to millions of us. I consider myself "lucky" to still have a holy card my parish at the time had made available. The ways of God are sometimes mysterious, indeed, they're sure to immediately stir up "rational" explanations of events that perplex us at the time. Such was the death of Pope John Paul. Once again, I thank you for this biographic profile.
