How do you conect this device to Sram AXS to visualize your rear gear? Thanks! Great video

6:15 I like to have the map and five (means six) data fields at the same time visible (speed, distance, RPM, heartbeats, power). My Wahoo Roam V1 can do this easily, sadly I lost it and now have to buy a new computer. On the Roam (V1 and V2) tha map is big enough and the data fields are rather small, so this works perfectly and I never have to switch to another side while biking. That's what I want. How many data fields can I add to the map and will they get resized a bit so that the map still remains big enough, meaning half screen sized?

I sadly lost my Wahoo Roam V1 and currently consider buying a Roam V2 or Edge 840. Nice to see the navigation, looks smoothly. But I miss a bit of information. I am ALWAYS running on the navigation screen on the Wahoo and have six data fields above the map (speed, distance, distance from start, RPM, HPM, power). Can you set the Garmin so that it shows all these datafields plus the map? If not, that's a deal breaker for me, no matter how nice it is otherwise.

it was easy to follow, pace was good, & graphics really helped. This is the best video I came across to figure out how to use the Edge 840's features. Good stuff - keep more tips coming!!

EXCELLENT video and so incredibly helpful to get a sense of what it's like to actually use it during a ride, which 99% of videos fail to even cover. Thank you!

Why is it not possible to add via points to an existing route on Garmin devices? I can click on the map and it will calculate a route. But if i want to add a detour the existing route has to to be stopped. It shouldn't be so complicated.

OMG the idiots that designed the Garmin Edge and did not give it to a newb to say, "yes this is easy to use and pick up as a newb"..... Thankyou guys for doing this video, you showed the stupid thing where if you dont touch the screen once after it says "tap to move things", it then does not give you the option to save it!. So thankyou for showing me this!!! OMG yes!

Dumbass music instead of narrating what your doing. When I looked at the writing on the left I lost what you did on the Garmin. I didn't come to listen to music. I clicked on to see how the unit works.
@AyeZimbra3 ай бұрын
I found the music really distracting and the information too quick and and a little vague. How do you stop after a ride to record it? I'm still learning how to use my 1040..
@toddpalmer21293 ай бұрын
Thanks! I wish I'd seen this before I took my first ride. The Garmin unit comes with virtually no "how to" info. My first ride was pretty frustrating. It's way more configurable (and useful) than I thought. I do wonder how you can plan out a route and then change it out there. For instance, if you plan a 30mile route and then aren't feeling up to it - it would be nice to be able to say "take me shortest route back". Any ideas?
