Little kids.. probably not. Bigger kids or teenagers sure. You'll need a ton of mosquito spray and coils to stay comfortable. Thanks for watching!

Many years ago before the pier was destroyed and rebuilt you could walk out to the end and cast out to the left, theres a sunken barge that holds reds and specks

That's what they call a yellow bullhead. Believe it or not they're not actually related to the catfish family even though they look like it . And the catfish you are catching without the spots looks like a baby blue cat. You might even get a hard head in there. It's nice to know what type of fish are catching that helps out

It does the job, I like that its super stable on the water. It's not fast but it will get you off the bank and it saves so much space on storage. Good luck!

Gafftop are horrible slimers and I don't know of anyone that keep them. I've recently retired and have my boat up for sale. 2000 22' Century 2201 w Yamaha 225 EFI Really great boat. ..too big for the garage and storage went to over 200/mth. I'll have to give this pier a shot during the weekday mornings.

My favorite spot to fish, a lot of snags on that side though. If you go a little deeper away from the gulf, there's a section were the water is crystal clear and there is always a school of carp if you ever need bait or want to fish for carp.
