I commend you for your time and effort for this, not sure it will ever be worth your time, I question how many of these rifles they have sold, there are good budget PCPs and you don’t have to go through all of this stuff for a rifle that IMO is not worth the effort, but again you are a very clever , crafty guy, hope your not wasting your time and efforts.

I'm considering getting the Zelos and putting a 700cc bottle on it. However I'm a bit worried about the bottles length and weight being a strength issue at the connection. Does the larger tank feel flimsy at all to you? Like would you be worried about breaking the tank off if you bumped something lightly with it, or had to shake the gun?
@InspirePrecision3 күн бұрын
I have never worried about the larger bottle. Unless you are dropping the rifle, there will be no issues with strength at the fitting.
@fjqtaxch94 күн бұрын
Better to make a dropdown bottle adapter that will allow the 2inch diameter 13ci or 22ci regulated paintball bottles to screw on. This way you're not having to tether to a paintball bottle, but you can just screw on an asa if you want to tether it.
@InspirePrecision4 күн бұрын
Any adapter/refillable tank has to be inline and fit under/in the removable section of the stock forend. My refillable bottle/tank does not change the balance of the rifle at all. The whole idea of this project is so you can swap back and forth between disposable bottles and refillable on the fly for an even more multi purpose rifle, otherwise there are other rifles you should be buying instead of the Komplete. The complete refillable tank solution (3rd option shown) does not require tethering, it is 100cc.

Thanks for the reviews, you should teach BIG-Tech how to do technical writing! I'm unclear on something and hope you can help. The Triton site says, "When paired with the 2x magnifier and digital zoom, you can achieve a 3-18x magnification...". Is the 2x magnifier that chunky thing on the front of the scope?, and does that imply that you can run the scope with the magnifier uninstalled for a lower magnification (range)? Thanks for any help you can give. Just saved your link to my list!!

Great project David. Thanks for all the hard work Is this full version regulated or able to have a regulator installed? That is one of the best features for great accuracy from the Notos.
@InspirePrecision5 күн бұрын
The Komplete is internally regulated and my testing shows great consistency with spreads of only 10fps until off regulator. This means there is no need for an additional regulator. The Notos just happens to be regulated inside the actual tank/cylinder itself and not in the breech or action of the rifle like the Komplete.

The thing that would keep me from buying a Komplete is that there's no way to tell how much air is left in the cylinder. I would use it about once a week and there's no gauge to tell me if there's enough air for a shot or to even clear the barrel.

@InspirePrecision16 күн бұрын
Basically a custom made fitting I whipped up in my shop. I will have production CNC fittings (to use your own notos cylinder) available soon as I just got the quote back from a local shop. The Komplete is internally regulated. I haven't taken one apart to see if it can be adjusted. As soon as I find cylinders, I'll be offering those with the adapter too. Stay Tuned!
@mikeglancy74517 күн бұрын
@@InspirePrecision I see that most refillable cylinders have a resealable ball vale that when screwed into the guns threaded port seals and pushes opens the ball valve. I’m surprised that all that I need is a cylinder with the same fitting as the Nitroair cylinder with a ball valve seal.
@InspirePrecision7 күн бұрын
@mikeglancy7451 the way the mechanics work with the Komplete is a bit different, as the place where a pin valve on a tank would move to seal and release is actually a small puncture probe that cannot be blocked. This puncture probe pierces the thick foil of the nitroair disposable tank. For now any of my tanks or retrofits will not be removable under pressure because of this.
