I just received my 250Z . All factory setting ..reg. was set at 2100psi. The hammer ??..I used a H&N Baracuda Match 21.14 gr ..On the chronograph was 990 fps and 46 fpe . The barrel twist is 1×18. Barrel.was supered clean before using..Tested at 30yds at 6 degree temp..Literally hole on hole. I will be testing the Griffen 30gr HPBT at 100 with the same factory setting

Thanks for sharing Dave! JTS was supposed to have their version coming out this fall? I heard a rumor about having legal problems with another manufacturer? Lets hope JTS has a better trigger.

There has got to be some adjustment I'm just not making that will improve this trigger. I'm just short of taking it apart and figuring it all out. It's not unusable, but after shooting the Zelos (that has what I feel is an amazing trigger) which is a Snowpeak copy as well, I just can't figure out why it has to be so bad!

Jts is part of the xisico brand so I would choose barra over them and most likely jts did copy barra as xisico made their name from Chinese copies of German underlevers

I think it is known that FX based the backbone of the DRS design on the Snowpeak m30 and variants that have been out for years now. Many companies license Snowpeak designs, like PP750/Notos and m60/Zelos. The 250z is an almost exact copy (minus the yuck trigger) of the m30 that was certainly licensed legally. Aside from seeing a shotshow video, I haven't heard anything more about the JTS variant.

​@@gmanneod8085 FX copied the snowpeak m30b (or at least *borrowed* from it). The m30B came out several years ago, way before FX rolled out the DRS

External reg & hammer spring 👍 definitely going on the top of my Christmas list. Not to mention the air tube around the barrel should help with poi shift. Fx drs for the working man.👍

Yes sir! The extra strength of that tube filled with air does significantly increase the rigidity of the barrel. As always price is a huge benefit here! Lots more testing to go! Will be posting tidbits here and there in the community section in between videos.

quick update .22 cal version that i got i turned reg setting exactly at 3000psi and shooting JTS 25.39 grain at 1067FPS average ( 64 FPE ) for 15 consistent shots and i also tried to go higher psi but it was loosing power so setting reg at 3000 psi is the max power you will get from this rifle but remember you will get 15 consistent shots only lmao

The 31-32gr Altaros slugs I plan to be using work best around 890fps. I haven't had a chance to get them out yet, but your numbers suggest I should have no issue ataining the required speeds.

My new 250Z 25 cal won't let bolt fully close when feeding from either magazine. It binds bolt up about 3/8" from fully closing. I then need a rope wrapped around bolt handle near bolt body to yank with much force to retract the bolt. Loads good from single shot adapter.

No, they are in perfect condition. They load great from the single shot adapter.

I've put many more rounds through the Zelos, so my bias is to the Zelos. I have found the 250z shoots slugs much better though.

Hi , this was a nice video for information purposes. There is another video out there from Airgun detectives that testes both calibers, accuracy, shot counts, etc. IMO, this is twice the rifle as the Zelos for less $$, more power, shot counts, etc. Hopefully trigger can be improved, but at $440.00 it’s going to be hard to beat.

Do you mean physical size of the regulator? If so, looks to be about the same size as an standard FX one, although I havent removed it to see how similar it is.

no side lever is the only thing wrong with it the action is not very smooth but with a side lever it would be smooth

Coming from mostly a firearm background I don't mind the action of this one a bit. This one is nice and smooth. Maybe not as easy as a side lever to keep your head in position for a follow up shot, but not bad.

@@potterportraits m=i have 2 snowpeaks and accuracy is good with all ive seen the triggers and bolt are the issues and barra could get snowpeak to correct these issues before putting their name on it
