You have such a great attitude. Thanks for showing us a little bit off how KZbin works. I'm sad you're no longer in Boston anymore, but I don't blame you for leaving, lol. I hope your revenue increases this year. Here's to 2025!

Thanks for posting your Lasik Eye Surgery Journey. I had a couple of friends do it last year and they said it was one of the best decisions they ever made in their life. I'm planning to get it done next year. You posting the different moments such as pre-op, the actual Lasik Eye surgery and post-op really helps others understand the process. Plus thanks for giving information about what instructions they gave you before everything was done and after. I had no idea about people having to take those eye drop medications for preparation of the surgery and the whole safety googles, and shower/sleep instructions after surgery. Plus the pain/relaxation medications and time frame of the whole ordeal. Makes me more confident in getting it done next year. Happy Holidays to you.

Hello, this was really helpful! I'm possibly moving to Boston area from the UK next summer for work and expecting to earn about $70k pre-tax, working in Cambridge. Can you recommend any areas that have cheaper housing compared to other areas, or any advice on how to find a place? I'm not familiar with the process of securing housing in the US so any advice to help me get started would be amazing!

UPDATE: In 2024 you need a monthly income of $20k to live in Boston rent now is over $4k a month for tiny spaces majority of landlords don’t accept pets, don’t offer parking , require perfect credit score and make you pay for them to see you’re credit report everyone has a broker that you will have to pay between a half month to a entire month rent even though you did all The work. It’s best not to own a car (it’s a waste of time,) parking is $20-$30/HR vs Train (T) $2.40/one way. The T has been under renovations since 2023. 2023 a red line caught on fire and orange line wasn’t working most of the last year. Living in the outskirts of Boston will save you few hundred bucks a month in rent. so.. Good Luck!!!

I live in Rhode Island, not far from Boston, and my favorite daytrip destination is the Trolley museum in Kennebunkport Maine, a comfortable ride from Boston, also, Nashua New Hampshire is not a long distance, so you can take advantage of the no sales tax in NH, go shopping it does make a difference and New Hampshire is another beautiful place for nature-lovers: white mountains, Mount Washington, whitewater rifting on the swift river , fresh air at the white birches campground and these are in easy access from Boston , even Montreal Canada isn't too far and yes Boston itself is full of wonderful places to go and see; yes it can be snowy, but at least there are no hurricanes nor tornados And one more thing : fort Independence on Castle Island in South Boston is such a relaxing family-friendly place I love it, you can watch the planes take-off and land at the nearby Logan International airport there!

8:55 Titas Kitchenette in National City? What a coincidence, I used to live 5 minutes away from that restaurant! I now live in LA but my dream has always been to move to Massachusetts in the near future. Went there for the first time for a Punk concert last month and I have to say, downtown Boston is the cleanest downtown that ive ever walked through. You probably know compared to SD or LA.

I know it would take a lot of time, but I would to see you actually at these locations. I guarantee that your view ship would skyrocket if you did that. Remember, watching someone talk on video isn’t nearly as interesting as seeing someone doing something. Boston is beautiful; I lived there for 13 years. You need to show them. You’re a great speaker!

Having graduated twice from Irvine, I would never recommend the UC system. I would pick either USC or SDSU or another private university. It wasn't at all unusual to have a professor get up at the start of the term and say, "We have 300 students in this class and room for 150 in the next. So no matter what you do, we WILL fail half of you, even if we have to divide you up alphabetically." Also, many ,many times, I have seen perfectly correct answers receive zero credit bc the professor needed to meet his quota for attrition. On one exam, a friend of mine had to GUESS the size of the bowling ball . The professor didn''t give partial credit. and the test consisted of ONE question. Also, not having sports teams REALLY detracts from the student and alumni experience. I had friends who went to USC and UCLA, and every year there would be generations of alums from both schools in the stands to watch the annual USC/UCLA grudge match. At most UCs, you get a diploma - period - if you're lucky. What this lady says about going to a JC or even Cal State if you don't get the major you want is exactly spot on. Employers first look at what you studied and only after that consider where you studied. A really good resource on this subject is a piece titled The Hatchet Man's Playbook.

You can’t live in Boston if you don’t make $100,000 or more. As young lady said roommates maybe. In heart of city it’s $4,000 a month so $1,000 a bedroom. 😊

One of the good things about Boston is if you make $60 k a year you qualify for welfare. Massachusetts will pay for your Healthcare. It’s called MassHealth.
