Turn that vintage seadoo into an amphibious vehicle. Add a quad set of tires, engine and modern seadoo controls and seat. Keep the tunnel. Make it better of course. Have a shifter to go from tires to impeller. Not Ski nor Sea doo. Salamander Doo?

When servicing a Sea Doo pump, do you only use BRP pump grease? Many folks add gear oil to move more lubricant through the bearing. What are your thoughts?

@@billy-bo-dilly you can use grease like the factory or you can mix it with heavy duty car rear end oil . I preferred Greece

What is your thought for 2005 and up seadoo but naturally aspirated motor like the 155.

@@The007astig they’re good. The only thing I don’t like is they have cast pistons and they love to break specially if you put cheap gas and then you have detonation.

So the problem starts from jet pump and messed up the drive shafts, so carbon seal broke water got in. Now it cause the price of the doo. 🤯 🔫

Great vid Calas! Ask Cory Anderson about removing the carbon seal on that red RXT you took a pic with. 😂😂. He ended up cutting it off with my help. Whew what a morning. 3 hours later (sponge bob)!

I sometimes have success with Johnson engine tuner, saved a few engines with it that had no compression but were cranking, but some get their last rights

I have the same ski, 2021 GTI SE 170, but orange color trim. This ski was juat 20 hours i saw. They must have let it sit a while with water in the engine. I didnt know the resonator was plastic. I definately learned something - if you have a partially plugged intake and partial power, go swimming and remove the debris. That resonator just melted like a candy bar in the sun. I get 58 MPH out of mine on perfect water with me 215 lbs.

Did you change the bearings? Did the machine shop fix the block? Why didn't you fix the battery light issue?

@@superk4562 yes I put new bearings honing on the block was very light The owner had a new battery for it.
