I honestly only dropped by when I found this video through a Google Search looking for Markdown support in OneNote. What made me click was the description "OneNote is not a markdown tool and never should be" which told me the author doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm sorry but Markdown is supper important and used heavily outside Microsoft land. For those of us that use tools outside the Microsoft world, we always attempt Markdown Syntax when writing as it is the fastest, most convenient way to write. Sure, Microsoft tools always support the basic keyboard shortcuts for bold, italics, underline but Markdown is much, much more than that. Writers want the ease of adding various Title/Headings, hard ruled lines, Tables, bullet points and numbered lists among other typical writing features. Given that in my daytime job I tend to use OneNote and have for years, it is inferior to its competition in most every way and Markdown is only one feature Microsoft needs to support. My other pet peeve is how they 'recently" made adding pages and sub-pages more difficult. It is obvious they don't care about end users.

On my Microsoft Surface Go, I find voice typing works best if plugged into the charging cable. If not plugged in, the "something went wrong" message appears often.

I cannot get this to work. I have a Dell 5300 laptop and a surface pro 5. The cast windows come up on both devices, but neither can find a device. The laptop is running Windows 11 home, and the surface is running Windows 11 Pro.

I have at least 4 surface pro tablets, I have been able to charge them by alternate means:- combining at least 2 devices, first> surface connect to type c i.e. TYPE C Charging Cable for Surface devices, the same cable is likely to work from surface pro 3 to surface pro 8. Second> you shall need either 65W USB-C 4 Port Desktop Charger [ 2 Type C PD + 2 QC3.0 ] Fast Charge Adapter (though it charges but it gives slow charger message for pro 8) or a branded original charger *e.g. Samsung that has minimum 3 amp and 25W with USB c port
