Good, concise review and I agree with the conclusions. Had mine for about 6 months and done about 4K miles. I love it. For UK roads it's pretty much spot on.

I've just ordered mine after a day's rental. In my opinion, it's miles better than the PCX.

I rode one as a demo bike when my Duke 890R was in for a service. The seating position was absolutely spot on for me and handled really well, I felt at ease on the bike within minutes. Styling is subjective, but certainly make it stand out from other bikes around at the moment, however the price tag suggest you pay for that, certainly compared to the KTM it's based upon. I'd highly recommend a test ride, just wish it had a bit more zip for me. Same bike with a 890 engine would be very nice indeed!

Great review! You’re sitting wrong through a turn. You need to sit on TOP of the bike, not lean in. It’s mechanics. For crotch rockets on the banked speed track, mechanics are totally different. On the adventuring bike, we get on top. Look at yourself. Your ass is sagging, while your neck is crooked, trying to form a straight line. Follow your neck. Get your ass on top.

Cmon shorty!Do not talk BS .Bike is a disaster.Engine is rumbling during shifting from,4 th to 5 th to 6 th. It is shaking like Japanese bride on her first night.It is a crap and I can tell you,Honda did a mistake and they will not,say nothing.One final word.I have one and it is a crap of expensive motorbike with no smooth performance.I want my money back .

Most reviews speak about the buzz that comes in at around 6000 rpm. Given that it's probably only annoying at sustained levels, what speed would you be doing in 6th gear at just under that rev limit?

im running these on my 2016 busa after running hypersport tyres. not as nimble but very confident inspiring. im laying it over further and they are so smooth havent felt like they are anything but amazing in tight corners under hard exceleration and very comfortable in the wet. highly recomend

if you are bogging down in a given gear, you wouldn't shift up like you said. at the start you said it handled well at low speed then reversed yourself saying it felt heavy until you up to speed. overall not a good review but a decent bike.

This is a great looking bike. Always was. Rode it. Guzzis are always something special. :)

Expensive insurance for me

My only question is, how mechanically and electrically reliable is this bike? In other words, could a person make this bike their ONLY vehicle as a daily rider?

I have never ridden a motorcycle ever before and I'm looking to start riding. I know it's a crazy bike, however do you think a new rider can learn to ride on this bike? I really want one.

It’s a commuter bike, but has no usable storage for anything, including the helmet and it seems pretty useless in the usual British weather. It’s a commuter bike, but it could be easily be written off with a crowbar to remove the battery packs. Apart from the wheels, batteries and the seats, there’s not much to it. It’s a thief’s dream come true. It’s an electric bike with very limited range and it takes ages to charge, but you need a driving licence for it. It’s more expensive than anything comparable to its performance. At £7,500, it’s for the graphic designer hipsters in cities who never had a proper bike or car but can’t be bothered to ride the bus anymore. They will soon sell up, cut their losses and try a proper scooter. The rest of the dozen sales to California will be to the same hipster type who will only realise it after delivery that there’s not much vegan food they can put in that fake fuel tank. Then the company will fold, leaving another set of devastation in the deluded EV faux industry.

When the Rocket 3 was announced 5 years ago, I started my KZbin channel so that I could - hopefully - afford one. Then I rode it and changed my mind. Yes, big torque, but it’s somehow completely lacking in soul and excitement.

It looks great, so tired of the alien bug looking naked bikes.
