This is exactly what you do if you’re not going to be able to get the spike off in time…This is what Prescott should have done against the 49ers in playoffs few years ago. Most likely whistles will get blown and you get a sec for a last play or atleast chance at last play if whistles aren’t blown…Never spike it when it’s this close.

Think about it for a sec, he was knocking it out with almost every film he had done in the 80s, then he did Home Alone and then he suddenly just kept trying to repeat the formula.
