Thanks for this Marek. Good of you to call out the superb work the RNLI do! As I type this I'm looking at a Sue Stitt print of Bembridge Lifeboat Station hanging on the wall. Think I prefer your rendering of almost exactly the same scene though. Stay cool.

Ah yes. I met her once. She was very nice. She showed me the Apple Ipad and pen and how she does her digital stuff. The detail is incredible. After that I took the plunge and got a Mini Ipad and pencil which is what I use to do most of the cartoons.

I hadn't planned in a visit to the Lifeboat on my bus pass trip round the Island next summer, I will now, that pier is an ideal length for me to walk! I got 3 right in the quiz &didn't guess how long it would take as I didn't have a clue ☺

Marek, I have to say thats one of my favourite paintings youve done. Whoever gets it will be very lucky indeed. Idk what it is about it but I just love it so much. also my answers were as follows: 15 mins B B false C true B A so over all not a bad score tbh. I said 15 minutes cause I was trying to account for lingering around the end cause of distraction. Didnt account for the fact that youd do that separately XD Absolutely beautiful beach btw.

Last week I was there! Walking the coast and getting stranded by high tide! A sketchy stretch around Bembridge, very mystic place though. Top notch quiz, got them all wrong.

Ahoy there Marek... I have a few questions of my own...Did your friend actually jump off the pier & is he still your friend? Why is that monkey🐒 only half shaved? And how many pigeons were there flying overhead? I counted them as best I could on pause (# Why???) & counted 36 but if there is any other CD member who wants to correct my pigeon decision & is nerdy enough to do so... please feel free!!! Also on this topic have you seen hairy ball bushes, formally known as Gomphocarpus, we have one at the end of our driveway and my husband caught a group of ladies petting them yesterday.
