I’d argue that as a person who struggles with pushing the ball, that the vast majority of players who do the same struggle with getting to a neutral path. Vast majority of the time the path is too inside to out with a square club face causing the ball to go to the right. First thing to fix is path, not clubface.

Good stuff. But the teaching is awkward and it’s too hard for the average person to comprehend all this stuff. You need to break it down in a couple key things that a recreational Player can sync their mind into and do.

Good info but as the best 80 yr old golfer in the world I can’t get any better or find anyone my age to play for $. I did forget my putt in my other car and had to use my 3 iron on the course last week. Shot 2 over

It looks like he is hitting off his right foot. His front foot moves tob to the left so it seems like his weight would have to be on his right foot.

Now do you make that same wrist flicking motion or turning over as you called it when you have both hands on the club?

Hi Kerrod. A few nice tips here. I've been working hard for a long time with my coach to solve my over the top swing. For me it comes from something you very briefly touched on here but is rarely mentioned about over the top swings and in over the top swing fix videos. Sequencing. In my swing my arms are actually in a pretty reasonable spot when I start the downswing, the problem is that my shoulders have started to turn before my arms go down, that means when I do start the downswing, it can only have a leftwards swing path. It's very clearly demonstrated when you show your over the top style swing here but I think it would be something to mention specifically in a future video. I've actually tried this 'casting' type motion drill that you mention here and it has helped me a little but if I do that and my sequence is still wrong it's almost irrelevant, i'll still be somewhat over the top and still have a left swing path.

I do mine a bit different I keep my arm straight on the the back swing on my downswing i drop my right arm just above my knee or right pocket keep in my right arm straight on the down swing once my right arm is straight on the down swing that’s when I start turning and releasing the club it seems complicated explaining my swing thought but it’s very simple it’s the true 2 plane swing and It creates coming from the inside N grip and every shot is a block draw can’t hook it also I open the club face for 2 degrees and the shot is a draw fade than so it starts as a draw when the ball starts loosing spin it start fading at the end I had 20 y of coaching and not 1 coach could teach me the 2 plane swing I worked it out myself and yes maybe it’s the old school 2 plane swing but who cares it works beter than any other golf swing that coaches tried to teach me everyone has there theory it’s what works for you

I'm not too flexible & often fail to turn my body, resulting in a straight push. Nothing I try works. It feels like for 4i I swing at the ball but for 9i through it.

Good morning Kerrod. After 10 years of illness, I am Currently using deWiz to regain my near previous pattern of my swing when a serious amateur (-2 Hcp). Several instructors recomment to extend as much as possible the BW width to increase the total DW length for maximum potential clubhead speed. Some are even recommending up to 50 cm for the BW width. My concern is that my right arm (leading arm) is only 43 cm where my left arm (backswing arm is 41 cm). I am a right side player.. The difference in the length between the two sides is primary related to high performance sports where my right side was dominant in the sports I plaid. (Tennis, Volleyball ...) I speculate that my BW width should be not exceeding 41cm. Your comments please. Thank you. Guy Boisvert

it did today, I’d move my head off centre before because my shoulder would push my chin on the back swing, now my shoulder goes under my chin making it easier to swing more in to out on the down swing, thanks heaps!

Good video. Also in the quest to look like pros at impact, Ams forget they dont have much X at the top, so hips start well behind pros in the 'race' to get hips open by impact. If hips are 80* closed at the top and player can only rotate at 320*/second, with downswing taking 0.2 seconds, best they can do is hips square by impact (vs rory at 720*/sec starting only 45* closed)
