What month did you do this in? Curious about the ideal water level for this river

It's called a chute because you should wear a parachute if you go near it

How long is your paddle? It looks pretty short.

it's 194 or 197 I switch between these two length

This. This is officially and will forever be my favorite Stikine video. I've never been, but this edit shows a lot more about the place than most others do. The beauty, with the stunning views, the magical little moments, and the amplification of a beautiful place that being at the bottom of a stout brings. The rowdiness of the place, with the present fear of Site Zed, and the rowdy line that follows, as well as all the other chaos that's presented in this video. And finally, the people. I've seen those three(Sam, Ben, and Dan) pop up in quite a few edits, but none have them featured as much as this one. I'm stoked to call those guys with us today friends, but boy, the more class V I do, the more Robe laps I mark down, the more Sky valley stouts I paddle, the more I wish I knew Sam better. RIP Sammy G. Nouria, thank you for making this edit. I'm sure I'll be watching it a lot more.

For a person to be so humble, kind, and thoughtful while being so incredibly ferocious on the river is truly astounding. It's an amazing first descent, your reading and running skills are a joy to watch. Fantastic video production all the way around. I loved this!

She was paddling so fast, I thought that if we could look behind her we'd surely see she was being chased by a bear or a shark or both! She paddled it so clean except for one branch which reached out and tried to steal her paddle, but she won that wrestling match almost instantly, then just gave it her all for that entire LONG race. Amazing.

in the 80s friends pulled 4 bodies out of the end of tree trunk gorge (where they were getting in) after the went down in a home made raft. it is presumed the missed the get out, and went over the first drop which no one kayaks. So sad. but it also nice to see it being done safely and it is such a beautiful place which thankfully few people know about.
