Green would be epic
@awboat3 ай бұрын
@@NouriaNewmanKayak The Green is completely different now. Horrible what has happened down there. Someone paddled the other day, Landon? the good C-1er. I think he has a video paddlin the Stikine. Watching them paddle the Green right after a flood event of that magnitude was more frightening than any other white water video I have ever seen.

Rural BC not sending its best locals in this video
@NouriaNewmanKayak4 ай бұрын
I don't always like what John has to say but I really like him and I think it's good to be confronted with opposite opinions, social expectations, the reality of risk taking...in a kind way. It forces me to reflect on my own opinion and see the other side. I like that challenge. And being a good dancer would be pretty cool too :)
@Cary_Glenn4 ай бұрын
@@NouriaNewmanKayak I used to live in rural northern BC and I know guys like him are fairly common. It's not entirely their fault, many of them haven't had the opportunity to travel. Their world is small. The great thing is they can learn. You, and other kayakers, can give them a glimpse into a world that didn't exist when they were young. Those old coots were the bane of my existence but I also had to respect how tough and determined they were. They also had some great stories.

@@NouriaNewmanKayak I do love when people with very different ideas about life can break bread together and figure out all the things they DO have in common. 😊🥹❤️ I'm sorry. I didn't mean to talk badly about your friend. He's still wrong about this though ;)

Delightful whitewater run and fun. Thank You for sharing! Although the video experience would be way better without the irritating rap/noise. The Natural Sound of the Water is the Best!
