So many sketchy takeouts above certain death... I've watched a lot of kayaking videos and this is one of the craziest I've seen. Solo, first descent, V+, very continuous, long technical lines, sieves, undercuts and wood everywhere, running parts of the river blind, and catching tiny must make eddies at the last second to avoid deadly unrunnable rapids. Be careful out there, Nouria

Sometimes I don't know what to admire more: her stamina when portaging the craziest and most exhausting paths or her immense whitewater kayaking skills!

If it weren’t for the fact she also wins races, I’d give a nod to the epic solo portage adventures.

Wow, that was intense steep creeking and alone no less! Skill, lots of practice, and natural physical abilities, along with intelligent courage. Nouria you got it all! Thank You for sharing your white water adventures and travels. I always enjoy and appreciate what you do.

Wow that sieve right after the eddy at 9:25 is no joke. If you miss that eddy you are having a bad time.

Honestly this is much stouter then most of what you see on youtube with big drops. Tight and technical with constant must make moves done with near perfect precision. Well done!

"The easy parts have been pretty full on..." OK, so they were the easy parts... Then you get back in and set off like a frikking rocket! Awesome!! Thank you for taking us along for the ride. It was wild, especially the "portage" near the end :-)

One of the signs of a great kayaker is one who knows her or his limits, and is willing to get out and walk if conditions warrant it. Nouria is one of those great kayakers. I'm a bit worried about that fence or whatever it is which crosses the river at 0:08 in the video. If a lot of people start running that creek and the water gets a bit higher, that could end up being a man made strainer which could kill someone. That should either be placed much higher, or removed altogether. No doubt Nouria had that scouted ahead of time and knew she could get under it easily. Hopefully others will scout before attempting to run. Great video, and as always with Nouria, that was some incredible paddling. It was a master class in how it's done.

We have a couple of very similar streams here, just without the death sives. 70m/km gradient, similar continuous character, rounder volcanic boulders, very very pushy with that sort of volume, just cleaner. Makes for really nice connect the dots padding at lower water, or equally desperate scramble boating at high flow. Yay for local micro creeks!

Bonjour Nouria. Tu me fais peur. Bien cdlt.

Totally agree. We have lost too many friends to the river. Viewing solo kayaking is a moral conundrum, even if amazing, the viewer is stoking a fire that puts even the greatest of kayakers at risk: even Nouria. So courageous. Every dead body on K2 was an extremely motivated and courageous person... So maybe slow down!
