If the negative comment came from someone who wasn’t a nurse or a medical staff… just brush it off. I’m a nurse and honestly I believe (non-medical) people will never be able to grasp the craziness of nursing. It takes a lot out of you. I also believe you have the right mindset with re-taking your med math test… think about it as “in a real life situation I can’t afford to miscalculate “ a 90% is a strong starting point and I feel you were given an opportunity to reflect and re-evaluate and this will make you a better ICU nurse and able to handle critically acute patients. YOU GOT THIS!!

Hi Paula 👋 nice cash stuffing and for sharing your debt 😊 Happy Belated 🥳 some people ugh you can’t succeed and learn without failure especially in such a high performance job like Health care. My daughter is in her 5th year of Pharmacy, she’s failed at least 4 classes and countless exams. It doesn’t mean she won’t be a great Dr. it means she will never make those mistakes again, she says she learns thru failure bc better to do it in school and not in the field. Give yourself a hug 🤗 it is hard and there are those of us that understand ❤43:09

Really sorry you had to go through that. When I had my son via c-section it was scary, then when my son turned 1 month he needed surgery. He is better now and almost 4 yrs old, but ya the stress and everything was bad, including the bills for both his and mine surgery. It’s tough but well worth everything in the end.

I am so proud of you! You paid off at least 10k of that just from pure grit and determination with money from your own hard work at your job!!! I want to challenge you to not use those cards at all in the future (not a popular opinion). Also, it would be really cool if you started to save up for the next semester of school so you won't have to take out debt for that. Something to think about, and I know you can do it. Congratulations and Happy Birthday!!!

It is very true. I was a certified nurses assistant for almost 10 years. I loved the job however it is a very stressful, physically laborious, selfless job. More often than not CNA’s are overwhelmed and under appreciated. Once I had a patient load of 30 because we were short handed. Nurses did not always like to help. Luckily one other CNA picked up an extra shift so we worked the whole patient load together but we were both worn out at the end of the night. People don’t understand you are feeding, bathing, toileting, rolling, changing beds, shaving, picking up etc. and assisting patients with day to day living and everyday tasks. Generally the people you work with make the job harder because they are lazy, unkind, or both. Not always the case but it was generally speaking about fifty percent of the time at the nursing homes I worked for. I’m no longer a CNA now but I’m glad the opportunity was available to me. My husband is in the United States Airforce and I truly recommend it. The military still pays for one’s college, medical insurance, and on base housing provided in return for your service. Wishing you the best.
