The performance of the bass is good on the other hand the treble are too present with often sibillance. The mediums are too far back. The equalizer is too minimalist to be able to properly adjust the Ruark R410. In short, a beautiful "Hi-Fi" box provided you give it good audio files, such as Qobuz to really appreciate the quality.

You are one of the first people I've ever heard verify what I've always thought: the majority of the sound comes from the front, so having great sounding speakers there is more important than surround and atmos.

I currently have the Edifier QR65 as my office desktop speakers. They're connected via their RCA input and I utilise the Dolby Access app via Windows 11. I'm contemplating replacing these with the Naim Mu-so 2 - connected via its 3.5mm input. My main speaker use in the office will be music (obviously) but also work (Teams), downtime (watching KZbin, Netflix etc.) At £899 (currently), is this a worthy sound upgrade over the QR65s or am I unlikely to notice any significant improvement?

would love to hear them , i moved from kef ls50 meta to monitor audio gold 100 and have not regretted it , i did fancy the r3 meta especially in that indigo blue with matching stands ............... they sound very bright which i like , using roksan attessa and eversolo a6 .......... and svs 3000 micro ..

They have advertised it in videos as a 5.1 system but the sound bar only has 2 channels so with 2 rear speakers it’s actually only a 4.1 system with a phantom center

Hi thank you for the info it was helpful. I need to replace my old 5.1 system with newer so Bronze 500s 6g is my choise like you recommended for Left and Right speakers.W10 for sub in the future I have two questions if you can help me please. 1)For center speaker the choise is C150 right? 2)For surround since i dont want to get Wall mounted (FX ) can i use a pair of C100 with stands? Is it a good choise to combine with 500 & c150 for 5.1 Thank you !!!

Thanks for your comment - yes thats right the bronze c150 is the dedicated centre channel in the bronze range. I assume you mean bronze 100 with stands for rears in which case also yes, absolutely, that would work well. As for combining 500 and c150 yes that is fine - the AVR will calibrate accordingly. There is no reason why you couldnt go for monitor audio silver c250 centre - we do recommend keeping the speakers from the same brand so they have similar timbre but given that sonic character carries across the monitor audio rangemixing silver and bronze would also be ok and the centre speaker is so crucial in a 5.1 setup its budget well spent

@@AVHifiCinema Thank you for your reply - since i am going to use them with my yamaha rx-a1080 (right now i have custom speakers 5x250w rms) i assume your proposal for the center speaker C250 is because is in the same watt range as the 500 left/right speakers. My only issue is the "look" is not the same but since the centre is crusial is better choise for sure :) Unless i have to go for 200 series bronze left/right but i beleive are "small" for my AV, i have to check the watt again to be sure. Yamaha says for rx-a1080 - Dynamic Power per Channel (8/6/4/2 ohms) 135 / 165 / 210 / 280 W. Thank you !!!!

The thing about the Px8, though I’d totally buy them if I could, I see photo after photo of the “more durable” headband splitting along that nappa leather. Seems criminal for $699 headphones. I have the Px7 S2es and will def pick up the Px8s and take a chance on that design flaw at their recertified price of $399.

Hi There - the drivers are all new so the mid-bass drivers and the AMT tweeter - both inspired by recent platinum 3g and hyphn speakers and the cross over is completely new too.

Hi There - we think this is a very fair question and one many people will be asking. At this sort of level its good vs good and comes down to personal preference - the R3 Meta is a three way design, the Studio 89 a 2 way design, the rated frequency response plus the larger bass driver and much bigger cabinet all lean to the KEF having more bass oomph and authority but we feel there will be things that the studio 89 do that people will prefer - particularly detail retrieval. Thats before partnering equipment and room size come into it. In short you could speak to our experts for another opinion, visit our showroom in the UK and take a listen - or take advantage of our money back guarantee!

Hi There - both good speakers and The studio 89 is more detailed - conveys whats going on in the music much better and draws you in - leading edges and vocal reverb things like that are much more apparent - we think its more composed and has better integration between the drivers. The gold 100 has slightly more authority or oompph to put it another way but its studio 89 for us!

Sorry by any speaker you got to buy in a pair even if it's a Bluetooth speaker it's soooo much better judging by the price of these even if you're short on space the kef ls60 powered is the way to go 🤷

thank you for the positive comment - so the answer is no - the only way really would be to use the Technics headphones out and that wouldnt be a good solution - we did another video about just add speaker systems - a few of those had that option but with these units they are designed to be one box solutions with speakers built in

The Muso naim extremely needs a equalizer in the APP. There is nothing to customize for preference taste to how it sounds.

I SPENT A GOOD YEAR READING UP ON DIFFERENT ALL IN ONE STEREOS TO BUY FOR MY 400 SQUARE FOOT CONDO. I HAVE HAD A BOSE WAVE FOR WELL OVER A DECADE AND MAINLY LISTENED TO HOWARD STERN ON SIRIUS XM SATELLITE RADIO. I HAD 10,000 CD'S WHICH I HARDLY LISTENED TO BECAUSE THE BOSE IS JUST FAIR SOUND WISE. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH I PULLED TRIGGER AND BOUGHT THE TECHNICS SC-C70 MK2. I AM SUPER HAPPY!!! THE PIECE IS BEAUTIFUL AND STURDY AND NOT TOO BIG AS I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF ROOM. I DID NOT WANT SPEAKERS TO SPREAD SO I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH SOUND AND SEPERATION OF VOCALS AND INSTRUMENTS!!! PINK FLOYD'S WISH YOU WERE HERE IS MY LITMUS TEST FOR ME FOR EVERY STEREO I HAVE EVER BOUGHT AND IT SOUNDS GREAT!!! AND THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR AT $1,100- FROM THE AWESOME HIFI HEAVEN!!! THIS PIECE WILL KEEP ME HAPPY FOR A LONG TIME TO COME.

Nice One. Does the R9 Flagship have the same DAC Chip and power as the K 19?

Thank you! - So with the K19 being slightly newer it features the ESS9039PRO, whereas the R9 has the 9038PRO, Both utilize the THX 788+ headphone amplifier but FiiO rate the K19 at 8000mW and the R9 at 7300mW - this isnt altogether unusual because while unit can share parts there are many other factors to the overall design and implementation that affect performance. That said I think you would find the performance reasonably similar, and will have a similar sonic character - however they are very different products - and both a lot of fun!

I bought the Denon last October, unfortunately was defect (!!) so Denon replaced it but there a so many bugs in the HEOP app, and I am not very satisfied compared to my 1996 Denon HIFI composition, which was at the opposite as for the sturdy construction and audio quality, which died after 26 years of duty!!

Hi Just bought the R410 & the RS1 subbie, the look really nice, a little dissapointed in the sound & very dissapointed that the Ruark is made in China, the marketing led me to believe it was British made. Im going to give it a couple of weeks to see how i feel about it as I really want to like it. maybe a swap for the Niam Muso 2?

Owning the bronze 200 I think they are big enough for medium size rooms, very fast and dynamic so great for watching movies and videogames. All the bass you need, very tight. This is a speaker that is out there, not laid back. For listening to hifi I prefer other speakers to be honest. This speaker was something my wife could handle according to size and looks😂

I've tested both the Px7s2e and the Px8 and while they are both excellent headphones, they are in fact significantly different. The Px7s2e is more neutral, the px8 is a little more boomy in the low end. I ended up buying the px8. Ive also tested the B&O headphones (both hx and p95) and the sennheiser monentums, both of which i found quite dull sounding. Beautifully neutral, but not exiciting enough for my ears. All in all: i fully recommend to just go listen in a store, because audio is really most of all a matter of preference. Note: I didnt have a chance to test the focal bathys, so im not sure how they are sounding in comparison.

Between the Px7/8 and the B&O headphones which would you go for for someone who prefers a more neutral sound (I listen to Jazz and Classical more than bass-heavy genres)? I've got the B&O H9, was originally thinking of updating to the B&O H100 but apparently they'll be nearly double the price of the H95, which is far more than I'm willing to pay for, so I'm considering switching headphone brands entirely and B&W has the kind of style that I like.

Hi! If you want something more neutral, B&W is probably not your best pick. Youd do best sticking to B&O or make the switch to sennheiser. Im just one opinion tho and definitely not an expert.
