Heads up very few films need proper full bitrate and dolby vision in 4k to get proper cgi Look this film is one of them so wouldnt judge cgi It is meant for 4k blu ray Also it is meant to be modern goth like Lil Peep Which was also a addicted to drugs similarly to eric in the new crow and had similar struggles

The company always knew about the aliens, regular people don't. That is the justification every film. The ship landed on the planet in ALIEN on company orders to retrieve the lifeform, all other priorities rescinded, crew expendable.

I love that the director Fede Álvarez got the fact the Alien franchise is set in an alternative universe where cassette futurism is the tech aesthetic and human space travel and exo-planetary colonisation is commonplace. Scott seemed to have forgotten this important detail with his awful Prometheus and Covenant movies, had he understood it he'd have made an Outland (1981, directed by Peter Hyams) style movie prequel. Go check out Outland, as it sort of makes a great prequel complete with off-world mining colony (a la Hadley's Hope in Aliens) and powerful, corrupt corporation (a la Wayland-Yutani) but sadly no xenomorphs.

The corn 🌽 joke was corny 😂 loved it lol Not a bad movie just not a great one. The thing that really bothered me was the fact that we were supposed to believe that Gina Gershson was pregnant and they were expecting.. she’s in her 60s come on! lol. She’s still attractive but she’s not getting pregnant. I also guessed who the killer was before the reveal. I figured my guess was too obvious and it was going to be a surprise at who it was but nope.. it was him. lol.

Think the movie you were talking about in the beginning that you watched but didn't finish was From a House on Willow Street with Sharni Vinson from You're Next pretty good movie.

31:24 did you just assume that monstrosity’s gender?
@mrdavman132 күн бұрын
10:07 wrong. They weren’t originating from earth in Aliens. She and the marines were coming from gateway station, which is not said where it is. Earth has never been shown except the end of the fourth one. Also real space travel would take lifetimes so 9 years is extremely fast tbh. 23:44 wrong again. From the moment “mother” announces 47 mins until impact, it is 47 mins. Then the last bit of movie when they’re off the station

I could have done without most of the "they said the thing" dialogue callbacks, but huge respect for taking some ideas from other sequels like Resurrection and making them really work this time! Fede Alvarez rules
@michaelschwartz87303 күн бұрын
I love that there was some new lore. We never saw how the aliens went from chestburster to full-size before, and that one line from the original about xenos replacing their skin with polarized silicon gets plundered for the one from the original cocooning itself in metallic rock to survive in deep space. Of course it doesn't all make perfect sense, but I don't care when I'm having that much fun

The most fun I've had with an Alien movie since 1986. I walked out of the theater feeling delighted and giddy. Leave it to annoying fanbros to crap all over anything this well done 🤷♂

Overall, I thought this was pretty good. They introduced enough new stuff that it didn't feel too much like a re-tread. I could have done w/o Ash, but, I agree - uncanny valley works for cases like this. A few too many callback lines. The "... you Bitch" was totally unnecessary and only for the audience. Didn't make sense for the character. Speaking of: MVP is Andy. Best character in the movie. Really liked how they got the world feeling a lot like the original, plus the practical effects. Worse part of Resurrection: the wiggling nose. TFG this hybrid was better.

Maybe she got the Truck from the Farm?! The book " Intensity " from Dean Koontz is better.

The first segment is giving me CoD: Zombies vibes and the picture looks like Taskforce 141 at the very end of the original Modern Warfare. I'm not even joking, it looks freaking good!

I have not, actually.

@@my_randomology One of my favorite depections of Satan in a movie. It takes place in the future when no one believes Satan exists. And he doesn't like being disregarded.

Three of those stories disturbed me so much, I had a hard time getting them out of my head, especially “Stowaway”. It was hard to see, but what I saw creeped me out so much I thought I’d have nightmares.

I liked Stowaway BUT I didn’t like the infrared. I also had a very hard time being able to see what was going on. I feel like their practical and digital effects were good enough to not have to cover them up so I think the infrared was a horrible mistake. I read that it’s based on The Jaunt by Stephen King and if you haven’t read it you should! It’s a short story and it’s horrific. Just thinking about it gives me an existential crisis. Thanks for the reaction it was good! 😊

Fun fact: Mike Flanagan wrote the script for the stowaway segment in about 20 minutes. Also the lead actress for it was Alannah Pearce, a famous youtuber who used to work with IGN.

People who like this movie also seem to enjoy "The Wailing"(I personally prefer Exhuma for spoilery reasons, but it's still a good watch) and a series called "The Guest"(A cop, a shaman and a catholic priest walk into a bar... No but I seriously love this kdrama so much, it's beautiful) since they deal with some similar themes, so I'd recommend checking them out :)

Technically the first mcu movie ever made was blade trinity with Dracula hhh Ryan Jessica where it was comic accurate blade that movie happened first then iron man happened and if you want to go really deep with the mcu timeline howard the duck was the first mcu movie ever made because universal started releasing Howard the duck with the marvel banner on the cases after guardians of the galaxy 1 came out and Howard was officially put into the mcu

More fun facts: Cowboy Deadpool was played by Matthew McConaughey or at least voiced by him and the floating skeleton head Deadpool was voiced by Nathan Fillion. Channing Tatum's dad is a native Cajun so Tatum grew up in Louisiana for awhile and was around a lot of ppl with a canjun accent and apparently, it's a pretty good cajun accent. Idk if you have an extended Patreon version where you caught it but Pyro was the one who absorbed Johnny Storm's flame attack in the void and was from X-men: The Last Stand. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman went to go meet Madonna in person in order to get her approval to use her song, "Like a Prayer" for the movie.

❤❤Hey there 🤗 This was so depressing I think she heard the brother at the end when she was with her dad, is because he was passing her and wanted to warn her to get away from him. And the mom distracted her from her dad. Depression Movie. I liked it. 😊 Your cat is so adorable 😍
