Please do not buy this software, they are scamming people. They are charging for a piece of software that will not stay open for more than a minute at a time, and the devs don't care. At least 10 people a day complaining about this in the discord, they are ignored.

Yes. Armor Paint is more like Substance Painter. Lab isn't like Substance Designer though, far from it. Watch the videos on the website and you'll see what Lab does.

Just recently bought your armorlab, and I'm pretty impressed with it. The software that Adobe destroyed(substance) and u it brought back! Are there any updates we can expect in the near future? Impossible to download from the website. Clicking on download button do nothing. Clicking on "dev 0.1" neither. tester in chrome, opera and Brave browsers.

I bought this ages ago and the updates are at a snails pace which is a shame as it could be a good competitor to Substance. However it feels like there's only one person working on it and at the moment it seems like they are just wasting time with stuff like Android and Ipad versions. As much as I despise Adobe you're much better off paying out for the Steam version of Substance right now Imo.

@@morganixxx Ok well it might suit your needs. It is being updated but as you can see it's not very fast, it takes years for things to get added. Also be prepared to look for some tutorials as it's not exactly intuitive.

Choosing between ArmorPaint DXR and VKRT depends on your specific needs and system config: 🟥 DXR (DirectX Raytracing): 🟥 Pros: Potentially better performance on Windows systems with compatible NVIDIA graphics cards. 🟥 Cons: Requires DirectX 12 compatible hardware, limiting its use on older systems. Hi there! Purchased this stuff for quick work arounds to adjust in-game stuff for video trailers. See, I have a couple of questions: is there an option to transfer blender objects with shaders or at least transfer an object and the textures it uses into the project (to avoid looking for textures on the hard drive one more time)? When to expect the update to fix exporting from blender 4.0 version? (at the moment it doesnt work at 4.0 but works ok at 3.6) thanx! Great project and I wish you all the best to expand the development!

I agree with all the comments, a great solution at a very affordable price is every artist's dream. So I don't even know if I have the right to suggest something considering the price is so affordable)). But if I were to suggest it, it would be cool to make it auto-detect so that you don't have to do so many actions, but can just drag and drop the material to the appropriate ID color and it will automatically apply where you need it.

Fantastic tool and I hope you'll start to convert adobe substance customers to your software. That said, is being able to import materials and smart materials made in designer/painter on the roadmap? I really want to use ArmorPaint but sadly, half the magic of substance is the vast library of materials I've accumulated there.

It is stand-alone but should work well with ArmorPaint. Using ArmorLab to generate materials for the ArmorPaint cloud library. :)
