This is a big step up in terms of implementation as compared to even several high profile pieces of software, just because there's a responsive indicator following the cursor perseverate from the smoothed out cursor.

It's like the cursor is stuck in the mud! Makes me think about a mode where the cursor has an hard time detaching from a certain feature of the mesh, in particular sudden change of normals like a crevice or sharp edge like a corner (with user defined "magnetic force", how much you can go from an edge before detaching). You could put details on those parts without make errors :) Another way would be guides like lines or curves placed on the mesh surface or on top of the screen (2D). Maybe too bizarre ;)

Not sure why it's called "Lazy mouse" when it's more like "Smooth brush".

Was tough but the reasoning is that when someone mentions "lazy mouse" I instantly know what that means whereas "smooth brush" is too ambiguous.
