Killer live band......I was only 12 when I first heard Foghat Live back in '78. My older friends then turned me on to all of the great hard rock. Great decade.

Fought really made slide guitar and bass prominent features of their music. That and a superb drummer and Lonesome Dave and his classic 70s rock 'n roll frontman vocals.

They owned rock radio in the 70’s during the “Disco” years. Dave voice,Rods playing slide leads. Nobody was doing that the way I remember it. Also “Foghat” was the coolest band name ever. A name chicks adored and dudes loved. What a time it was.

Second concert I seen when I was 14 back in 1974 at the RKO Orpheum Davenport Iowa old school theater house only handled about a thousand people balcony 30 ft High and only about 200 ft away from the band excellent place excellent concert got high AF

I remember going to a Rock Series concert! Rush, The Tubes ( who were booed off the stage ) and Foghat! Wow. They sounded very much like their live album featured here. So damn good. And of course- Rush!! 😅😅😅

i saw FOGHAT September 04, 1974 at central park, n.y.c they opened for BAD COMPANY who were doing their first U.S. tour. Jimmy Page showed up and played some solos with BAD CO. for the encore!!!
