Actually you’re right Richard. I know he drove the Z3 in Golden Eye but I thought he drove the Z4 at some point well. Thanks for the clarification! 👍😊

i've had my XF 2016 model 2.0l diesel for a couple of months now. I agree that the performance is quite sluggish for what it is. BUT. Once you don't look at it as a sportscar and consider it a luxury cruiser, your perspective changes a lot. It's not a sport sedan with a luxury feel-it's a luxury car with sporty feeling. Once you change your driving to relaxing, calm and poised, your whole experience changes. My dad now owns a proper sportscar and we drove 2,5 h to get it from another city and then drove 2 cars back the same distance. I gotta say my back has never thanked me more than after buying this jag. Yes- it is not THE most luxurious and soft car you can find. But something with these characteristics of driving, being so planted and sporty yet so soft and comfy- i haven't found in my years. So it's a matter of perspective really. Each car was designed to fulfill some sort of purpose. When you start looking through the lens of this purpose it becomes good at it.

@@bobbyfreemandrives8342 Haha, thank you! Just to make things clear, your video is wonderful and i'm wondering about the windshield problem you have, seems rather odd, don't have this issue on mine. So far it's the best video of a "living with update" about an XF that i've seen. Definitely keep it up and can't wait to see more!

@@bobbyfreemandrives8342 The "each car has a purpose" idea is actually from another youtuber JayEmm on cars. So what if the cars cost the same or have the same specs or have the same power output? It's the way it was intended to be used that's important and 2.0l diesel can feel absolutely different in absolutely every car and manufacturer.

Thank you for the good video. I own a Jaguar XF 2.0D, 2018 and I am super satisfied. There are no strange sounds or vibrations and the wipers are silent. I hope you will solve these small but annoying problems.

2016 model. Doors filled with water, rear footwell also filled from incorrectly fitted a/c drain pipe, 3 months off the road because the dealers could not solve electrics issue, terrible resale value, expensive servicing, absurd and useless sat nav system. It is very comfy on a long drive and looks good.

I had a 13 plate one, and the boot was all covered you couldn't see any metal, I had a 17 plate xe and that was like yours, obviously the accountants thought they could save a few quid doing tricks like that on their range.

I have had a number of Jaguars the last one being a XKR 5ltr 500bhp.I changed this for a 600bhp Bentley Continental convertible .A wonderful car but the nearest specialist was 100 miles away .Repairs were very expensive the last fright was a possible roof control switch which would cost over £1000 !!! Upon retirement bought a 3ltr XF and was impressed with the performance and the economy. Regarding your problems as someone else said it's the angle of the wiper arms (surprised a garage didn't know this) . Cruise control doesn't usually use brakes to slow down going down hill but engine braking , which is limited I guess by the compression on the smaller 2 ltr.

Great fun review but full of misinformation. It's a great car - go buy one - but check your facts first! Most egregious for me was saying that 11kW charging is helpful when charging overnight at home. Very very few homes in the UK have 3-phase power so will not have an 11kW charger. 7.2kW is normal and all models of the iPace can charge at that speed. It also won't charge 20-80% in 15 mins on a supercharger. Maybe 30-40 minutes is realistic. Anyway - go buy one. Very cheap second hand now and worth every penny. Just get a warranty. They're expensive to fix!

I hear they're going to make an electric model of the Fiesta in 2026. I had a 1980 Ford Fiesta 4 door hatchback when I was 23. Very useful, with its large boxy opening in the back.

Really enjoyed the review, thanks! And SO refreshing for it to be a UK based review! It's such a good looking car, in my opinion a much better looking car than the Tesla Model Y. I was considering the Model Y simply because of the charging network, but I understand these will soon(ish) be able to use the Tesla supercharger network?? I need to arrange a test drive!

My problem bro. It's not as easy as people think to do an evocative auto review. We tend to not get overly eloquent American reviewers. To quote one of your good one liners : " It looks kind of reassuringly brilliant!" "let's look at the side before I start licking it or mating with it". Good one. You obviously love this car. I should be receiving mine soon. Do you recommend premium 90 - 92 plus octaine? Any things to be concerned about for the 25 turbo? Change oil at 5,000 miles?

Thank you for a truly AWESOME review of the Lexus RZ!!! Your friendly presentation style relaxes the viewer and keeps them entertained with unique terms that perfectly and succinctly convey the concepts being discussed. My favorites include the “widey-out bit and inny-out bit” of the front grill-area design, (including the “ventilage” design features on the front and rear), the RZ’s complete avoidance of “vomit-inducing” acceleration and regenerative breaking, and the “fart-sucking” seat ventilation! The “Freeman Test” for boot size comparison adds an individual flair to this fantastic automotive review! I completely agree that “Lexus from the Side” is an awesome view angle of this vehicle, and most other Lexus vehicles! (I’m thinking that “Lexus from the Side” is the working title of the next James Bond movie!) This is the first, and perhaps the only, review that honestly describes rear seat legroom as biblical! As a 6’2” tall person, I’m glad to finally see this descriptive being used! As a retired guy with another vehicle (2024 Lexus RX450H+), the lower range numbers fit perfectly with how I would utilize this EV for trips around town. Fantastic review! You should win a Pulitzer Prize for your excellence in journalism!!! All kidding aside, I really, truly, enjoyed your review of the Lexus RZ, and will check out your other reviews!

This sounds horrible. This product is a menace and there's a reason that streaming video applications are by design not installed on Apple Car Play. I think that you should be embarrassed to be advertising it under the guise of a review. There is no AI in that overpriced piece of Chinese crap and a basic airplay dongle for £30. This has scam written all over it.
