Could I fall in love with a Volvo?

I really don't think many people hold the 'OAP' image over Volvo's anymore. I've had one of these XC90s since 2019 and get many compliments and people saying how nice they are (interior especially) as I have lovely blonde leather and wood inside. On the contrary I'd say they're very trendy nowadays, they are an eco-conscious/ethical company which is very popular now, and they are packed with technology and style. Especially cars like the XC40 and C40 I'd argue they're very trendy. Fantastic car and been very reliable/comfortable/easy to live with for me. I have a D5 now at 146k miles and running very well still.

I have a XC60, and think it’s a perfect size, the 90 is a bit big for northern roads, but saying that they, 69+90 are brilliant safe cars.

Off course Volvo is guilty of ignoringmajor developments for the XC90, specially the Recharge model while concentrating on the EX series. The XC 90 Recharge at this day and age needs to be with a much bigger battery than the current 184kW one delivering a range closer or matching what the Range rover 510 (70 miles) range, DC charging and similarly adopting rear wheel steering.
