@13:00 you're talking about leveling the swash electronically. In the OG VControl there was fine trim at high and low stick as well with Pro upgrade. Is this feature gone in the touch? Or is there an app that needs to be loaded to get that functionality back? I'm asking because I'm migrating my NEO from one heli to another and need to do setup on the new heli on the touch; and now I can't find the endpoint adjustment menu.

Thanks for your vids! Im very curious about VPlane. I can not find many informations maybe you can help me with my question... I want to use Vbar Evo and a Mikado reciever. Which one should I go for. It is for a Plane (VPlane) with 2 Ailerons (are 4 possible?) 2 Elevators 2 Rudder and 1 Throttle (Gas Engine). Is this even possible?

The good thing about. plane is you can do any configuration as you can link other VControl receivers to that EVO and add extra channels. That is exactly what I did on my turbine jet. VPlane is amazing as well! Super stable and the ability to trim the plane with a flick of a switch and it flies straight as an arrow is amazing!

@@TheLufur you can use the graupner receiver with an EVO but not with VPlane. VPlane is a VControl only feature. For helis, yes you can use that rx

Yes, under the battery setup you choose “percent” and then how much you want left in the battery. Then you go the battery app on the screen and short press. Then you can select “speak percent”

Yes, agility or “rate” (depending on what version you have) will adjust how fast the heli flips and rolls.

Sounds like you may have a resolution issue. Try moving the ball on the servo 1 hole closer to the center of the servo arm. Reset your endpoints and make sure you can get full deflection. Also make sure your tail servo is mounted solidly

Can you mabey give me an idea why my Protos 700 e 14 cell 200 amp castle creation tribunis and my Protos 380 set up the same. We're flying just fine untile I was doing my preflight on the 700 and turned on my VBar controler and it was on that black boot screen. I fixed it by connecting it to my computer and running 5he VBar control and neu pro software and updated the controller and neos firmware and how everything works except the controller will not spin the motores up on both birds. Nothing's changed with the birds. They flew perfect and are babied. Why won't my controller not show that it's not even trying to change the rpm no matter what switches are in any positin. Any help would be very much appreciated!!

Sounds like you have the custom screen app enabled and no screen selected. Turn the app off and you will see the screen. Then you may have the “safe” switch turned on and might not know it since you can’t see the screen

Sure, after you loaded the pics to Vstabi (assuming they are the right size) did you connect your radio to WiFi and the heli to move them to the radio?

Hello I followed this setup and everything seems to work well but I having problems setting up the engine tick over/idle. It seems when you put the bank switching onto the throttle curve it doesn't allow the throttle trim to work properly. Have you any idea how to adjust the throttle idle. Many thanks

Throttle trim is done in the VBAR if you aren’t using VControl.

I don’t own any Hobbywing ESCs but with every other esc that works with VBAR you don’t have to calibrate it when using the VBAR gov

Direct to the VBAR depending on your voltage going to the VBAR. LiFe is safe

@@laughingstill I use 2s LiPo, not sure whether it will burn with 8.4V, maybe worth to try. How many volts do you have pls? Many people say there need to be step down reg for BPS-1. I have Spektrum too, that one work fine.

Set up my neo Vlink & rescue on my Trex 700, had a nice flight until I hit the rescue to get a feel but the heli rolled and piled in. Not confident to try it again and still haven't finished the rebuild. I Set the rx orientation in the neo software during the setup as wires aft and logo up. Tested on the bench and it stopped quickly as the heli was in the correct attitude exactly as your video but took a little longer when I changed the attitude. This has cost me about £300 in parts + the £80 for the rescue software, not a happy bunny. Any info as to why this happened would be appreciated. I'll be trying to get the flight data and send it to Mikado ASAP.

Did you calibrate the rescue? Did you let the NEO initialize completely? Did you check the logs to see what else may have happened? Lastly, did you check the vibration screen to see if you had vibe issues (new nitro breaking in)?

Ok so this is what was happening on my case, my computer was renaming the keyfile to keyfile1 and taking out the .iso so make sure if you have this problem your computer isn’t renaming the keyfile

My key file isn’t working. I’m putting it in the file but the system keeps prompting me to the connected unit is not found in your list of units

You have downloaded more then one key file which is why your computer is adding the (1) to the end. Delete all key files on your computer, empty the trash, reconnect your NEO to the computer, open the manager and let it update. Then click the “applications” tab in the manager as soon as it becomes live and download a new key file. Install it According to the video and it will work. This is all assuming that the NEO is registered to your account..

I forgot to say that before that, the first time I took off at 80% of the throttle curve, the stick was almost in the uppermost position, and when I took off today everything was fine, the stick was in the correct position (just above the middle).

Oh ok, you are trying to use a “normal mode” with an electric. That is to use for nitros to keep the motor from bogging in start up. An electric does not need that. You should keep your sticks at the center and click the motor on. The esc will spool up to the head speed set and then you lift off and fly.

Not necessarily needed for some heli’s. If you have an older mechanical CCPM then you will need that as well

No, you can see the telemetry with the VBAR gov. You just need the cable that goes from the computer port on the esc to the telemetry port on the NEO

No, that voltage will not hurt the sat. Two things: (1) Did you convert the mini to 6.0? (2) Do you have the sat plugged in correctly (polarity wise)
