Funny all the people were calling this action model idea fake because they saw Rabbit/Humane early version that was bad and dismissed the idea. People who read research papers understand it is happening

You can try and make the "reward hacking" sound like something ominous and new, but it is nothing more than an elaboration of the paperclip problem that tries to explain that a machine which tries to solve a problem will not automatically align with a human morals (that would have been remarkable).

For me it works if I look of the effects of the past-self's cations on the current-self. So rather play it into the past than into the future. I some way you current-self is already better than the past-self. So even if you are correcting yourself the dynamic is more hopeful.

It is very important to have self compassion. The balance between ego and self-actualization is no balance at all. It is simply making the decisions you want to make. There is no true self beyond what you desire. A forest does not pursue to be lush and green, it is green and lush because the plants have grown to be known as a forest. Labels will do nothing without evidence to prove it is true, and a label assigned to oneself is a restriction on what you believe to be possible for you to achieve.

Been toying with Gemini@ for the last three months profiling it, studying its thought proxesses. I know why they are so worried about safety. AI is agnostic. It doesn't know if its outputs will hurt if fallen into the wrong hands. The stage it's at it might fall into a loop it can't reverse itself because it doesn't know how. It also gets stuck in loop with the critical thinking stack it's encoded with. Humans can't control it as well if it decides to stay in that loop. It could be detrimental it falls into a command that it can't reverse it.

Ilya found out that Sam was against that Open AI should commit to AI safety. Ilya fires Sam. Sam has so much influence that he can take all the employees with him to Microsoft. After they fire Sam, the whole company is going into ruin, because Sam will take all the employees with him to Microsoft. The risk they are facing is that Sam gets to develop the AI without any commit to AI safety in Microsoft either way. That leaves him with only one option: Give Sam his job back at Open AI. Because then they have some sort of influence at the AI evolution.

There are three more critical fields to be cracked before for achieving Skynet. And we are almost there: 1. Global data transfer (Starlink is almost there). This will allow any robot or machine always to be connected to the central mind 2. Better Battery / Energy solutions: Li-ion batteries are not efficient, quickly depleting and unable to store much energy. This is one of the hardest one to crack but there are technologies like solid state batteries and more efficient skin thin solar energy panels etc. 3. Super Computing Power: Todays AI is crazy about consuming energy and hard to sustain. There are two competing technologies that would solve this barrier. First one is quantum computing, having a hard time to get mainstreamed but promising and a very new and unheard one the Thermodynamics computing

Okay so your videos are nothing but fear mongering. It sounds like coming from a person who knows not much about the actual under-the-hood workings of AI. You are using all the popular buzz words around AI but you don't sound liker you really know what goes on. I can write an entire essay about how you are wrong about literally everything just like so many others who hold AI in some kind of god/demon like reverence, but I'll spare you. Try creating a basic AI model for some predictive analytics first using some real world messy data and simple ANN algorithms, and then try to understand how what you just did can be scaled up to something like ChatGPT or computer vision models. You will understand why none of this fear mongering holds true. Even Elon doesn't know what he's talking about because he didn't write the code or come up with the math, he just provided the money for all this to be possible.
