I put too much time and money into clash R while being addicted to it as well at most in the 7 and a half years I played it was mostly f2p didn't spend any money until around bandit release. I spent around $450 to $550 all together, but in the last 2 years ive spent around $300 to not fall behind other players. Coping that clash R will be good again.

I would play the game if they go back to the classic era. no Broken Champions, tower troops, evolution or legendary troops. Just a fun game. The crazy thing is... it will still be almost pay to win.

I reinstalled it a week ago to see how it's holding up and decided uninstalled immediatly after getting jumpscared by the +5 special offers people have to scroll down to reach the daily gift.

I tried to get back into clash royale and evos and level 15 instantly killed it, i already had taken a few year break and then everyone who was maxed instantly got a level on me and i had nothing close to level 15, just no point to play this game if you ever took a break unless you want to buy microtx's

I wouldn't even call it pay to win, as they have made it such a random coin flip with all the new evolutions/towers/cards that even paying doesn't mean you'll win. Pay to play at the very best. 🤮

I've played this game since its released and even been a top 100 leader board player But cr idk what is happening wild cards 100 000 cards to upgrade 1 card, a lot of new bs cards, 30 arenas, deadass boring clan wars i miss the old days when it was based on Crowns, lack of events in tournament tab, crazy expensive damned emotes, and there's more but this game is dying and supercell and the cr team refuses to listen to the community, let's not even speak about the 50 tabs of purchases before getting to the free card in the shop😂

To be honest, I'm one of those people who hangs on almost solely because I hope for a 'revival' of sorts (I know that sounds crazy), and because, though I haven't spent anything worth a pencil on this game, the fact that I've played it, grinded in it - gotten to over 7 000 trophies over the course of 4 years feels like an investment. Yet even my seemingly unnatural patience is wearing off. My peers were dropping off I want to say a year ago, but it could be as long ago as 3. I'm among the last left of my peers on this burning ship, because I know I can adapt to other games if needed. I hold on because maybe, just maybe, the devs will grow brains and remember the heart of game-making; but this optimism is wearing thin. Unless my patience breaks - the 'last straw,' I might remain until it burns or is fixed. And if it burns - you can count on me to fly off the ship mocking the arrogant captains still aboard. "The captain always goes down with his ship."

And one day the server will shutdown and all those cash spent? Goner. Pay to win in a MMO is one of the biggest scam ever and the reason why the $100 package exists is because there are true suckers out there who pays for it, and that in turn embolden the devs to keep going down the rabbit hole ever deeper.

I legit could have been a very competetive player(with speedy baloon lol)i was rushing through +3 overlevel with no problem against players with 3x or more wins than me and got to average lvl 13 but evolutions and lvl15 made me never open this game again

as someones whos been playing clash royale since 2016-2024, and has since moved to brawl stars, the fall of clash royale is extremely satisfying, i never spent anything on the game, but i see p2w getting worse and worse, and now the game finally crumbles.
