Should of shown the LT 2000 video AS ADVERTISED/CRAFTSMAN NOT MTD
@TheOutdoorPowerGuy2 күн бұрын
Craftsman is still and always was and will be just a name, They use to be made by Husqvarna and MTD, now since late 2018, 100% by MTD.

If my compression release is not broken, will worn lobes on cam cause me to have to adjust the valves every time before mowing.

Hi , best practice to clean spindle shaft of debris , I find brake cleaner pretty good , and light application of grease to shaft and inside bush , before assembly , a block of wood on face of bearing when refitting will prevent it becoming damaged/ deformed

Thanks, that's more than enough i wanted to know. I have Briggs v twin 24hp that is very hard to start, when i turn the engine round by hand it will make weird saxophone noise, is this faulty decompression?
@TheOutdoorPowerGuy22 күн бұрын
@@martink4719 Depending on your year model engine there could be a multitude of different problems ranging from a cylinder issue or to something as simple as a bad carburetor or a valve problem, the lobes on the cam could be worn, i have seen that happen as well, the noise you hear might be normal as some Briggs engines do make a noise like that when cranking over, i've never seen a ACR (automatic compression release) fail on a V-twin briggs and some don't even have it. my best advice would be to contact your nearest Briggs & Stratton dealer, they are certified in-order to be an authorized dealer :)

1. Not a bearing. It's a bushing. 2. You should always wipe off the grease zirt before greasing. That way, you don't push dirt in and contaminate the grease. Nice video otherwise.

Are you aware of the wind noise?

Wind noise is due to a shop fan blowing air around as it gets very hot in the part of the world i am in.

Dude, stop it with the RTV. Next guy will be looking to choke you out LOL. That crap is such a mess to remove and clean up. Use a simple an cheap paper gasket. This ain't the space program fellas.

Good afternoon Mike I'm Brendon remove your non adjustable hanger and get yourself an adjustable hanger to make your deck happy. You're supposed to have 2 adjuster hangers but you only have 1 it's Husqvarna's fault. With both adjuster hangers your deck will mow evenly and raise on both sides take note of that.

always go OEM when it comes to internal engine parts, contact your local Authorized Briggs & Stratton dealer, some dealers will not sell ' Service Only ' parts, which was certain parts reserved for shop use by professionals, like myself, at my shop I will not sell a service only part, but it's at the shop's discretion :)

My Powersmart was puffin white smoke out the exhaust, turns out there was gas in the oil. I emptied out the oil gas mix into a jug and replaced it with oil. Would cleaning out the carb prevent this from occurring again? I'm just going off other videos I watched.
@TheOutdoorPowerGuy3 ай бұрын
just run fresh gas thru it and replace the spark plug, it will eventually burn it all out. don't use mix gas in 4 cycle equipment :)

the answer to your ? 'will it run' is; not for long. this machine is not worth fixing. husqvarna should be ashamed if they were still husqvarna and not some asian syndicate. chainsaws suck too now. will never buy that brand again! spend the extra $ for a BCS if you really need a tiller.
