I know the scene where Hartnell says "I don't wanna go" is heartbreaking, but I cry much more at the scene right before where the policeman tells him "You're in the way, you need to move along sir" because it perfectly encapsulates what he's thinking at the time; doctor who will keep going, but he's in the way of its progress and needs to move along.

I was honestly surprised at how much I wound up liking Steve. For a while, I thought they were gonna go the usual, douche-bag popular guy approach, but Steve's actually a really great guy. He isn't just some stereotype, he's a person. With feeling and faults, who makes mistakes but tries do right by others. He's the kinda I'd want watching by back when shit hits the fan. Also, Joyce is the best mom. Mother of the year.
